Any good tempered glass protectors you recommend for this phone, that don't give that halo effect ?

I really like this HTC 10, but man I wish Google still kept the GPE phones going. The One M8 GPE in my opinion was the coolest Android phone of 2014, a beautifully made device, running stock Android directly supported and updated by Google. A GPE 10 would be the best. Well I guess the second best thing, would be the stable release of CM13 on the 10, which is months away, but will be worth the wait.
I'd love to see a GPE HTC 10 that works on all carriers! I'm stuck on Verizon so my phone choices (if I want an unlocked device) aren't exactly great.

Bought an HTC M9 for 300 brand new a year ago because my friend had worked for Sprint for 5 years so she had the HTC Champion HTC One 4life discount program. Late last year she quit and now I'm not qualified for the One 4life :(

I know for my Galaxy S6 and Note 5, the Zagg ones sold at Verizon were among the few that didn't have the halo effect. But they are expensive. I do get 25% off at verizon which helps, but still a tough pill to swallow. Not sure if The Zagg is the same way on the HTC 10 or not.

I just got this phone and noticed when on a call that it sounds muffled. Not clear like my S7 or iPhone did. I'm on AT&T and since it's unlocked, not sure if its using LTE over voice or not.

Yeah mine has been clear since I got it at launch. No difference between it and my other devices. Could be an AT& T thing or may be a fault ? :(

That's odd. I don't own the phone anymore but my buddy on ATT does. I messaged him after reading your post and he said the voice quality is fine, as far as he can tell.

I noticed some complaints on XDA in the galaxy s7 for the same issue. Could it be something to do with your line? Would it help to call and complain?

Not sure. It was fine with my S7 Edge and iPhone like I mentioned. It did it as soon as I moved my sim over. Hmm...

I see there was another update to the camera. Did it provide better low light performance to address the lens flair

Yeah I got that update, it was to the app itself. I'll experiment shortly .... though i haven't had lens flair issues so far in the shots i've taken.

The updates to the camera have been fantastic. Same with you, lens flare issues are gone. I even rubbed my lens with my finger to create some fingerprint smudges and took a photo, no issues anymore. I use to get lens flare when i took photos in my house due to the ceiling lights, but not anymore. The camera focusing keeps getting much faster on each update also. Amazing what software updates can fix

Another system update just now ... they're really flying these out ...

The camera is pretty nice.

And then there's this:

Yes, yes, I know they're different cameras. I'm just wondering why one is so... dirty looking.

And here's my ugly mug. Best camera in the world can't fix that.
