Huawei mate 10 = Release Oct 16th

I had a note.
pen was gimmick and used for like 3 days tops.

the EMUI in the 10 ment be better than in the 9 but also in december the 9 gets the upgrade to new oreo and the new EMUI

I use the SPen daily, I had a Note 4 and went to a S7 Edge last year when the Note 7 debacle happened, and so was forced to get the S7 Edge, for the 12months I used the S7 Edge not a day went by where I wasn't tempted to grab my Note 4 as I kept running into instances where I had become accustomed to using the SPen, lol, so you can imagine my relief when the Note8 arrived, lol.

Yep, that's the thing, the Mate9 will still get updates. I think the Mate10 and Mate10 Pro are more for those who come from the older Mate8 and Ascend Mate7,the Mate9 is still up there with some of the best overall.

Would love for LG to adopt Telephoto but make it at least 5X optical zoom. So we get zoom and wide-angle. We'll have to wait and see with the G7 and V40.

Back to using the Mate10 Pro as my main device, I simply cannot get over the phones compact size and huge display, it's reminiscent of the Galaxy S7 Edge, but with a larger display.

This phones design in general is damn near perfection I must say.

It is a great Camera. I am not great at photography so I really do not do it justice, but it does a sweet job.

Honestly can't decide what phone to use between it and the Note8 daily , so what I shall do is switch between them each week, lol!

Once you get used to EMUI you really begin to appreciate it, this phone is blazing fast.

Received my Mate 10 Pro today and MY GOD! SUCH a beautiful phone. I think, though, what I love most is how absolutey customizable EVERYTHING is. Fonts, icons, wallpapers...

I'm in love.

And the Mocha Brown color is gorgeous.

I've never been happier with a phone purchase in my life.

Picked mine up from eBay for $805, which I think is an absolute steal.

It's really the perfect phone for someone who wants lots of form and lots of function.

The 6 inch screen is perfect for productivity.

Watching movies or Youtubing is...

I'm just totally in love with this phone.

Coming off the extremely lackluster G6, I'm completely satisfied.

Unlocked for GSM phones; I'm on AT&T.

Works flawlessly on all LTE bands, which means the phone is stupid fast.

I read a report yesterday claiming Huawei is in talks with AT&T and T-Mobile (?) to bring the Pro over by first quarter 2018.

Was obsessing too long to wait a day more than I didn't want to.

Thanks. Huawei is talking to att and Verizon. Another great phone maker Xiami is in talk with att and Verizon. Hope next year a good year for consumers.

As much as I love this phone now, I don't see myself being infatuated for too long. The next great Android phone is always right around the corner.

Also, I just spoke to my phone across the room and told it tell me where it was.

I have the Mate 9, great phone in its day. Absolute bargain.

I would not buy the new one if the price is too high, I'd stick with the Mate 9 until there is a reduction.

REALLY intrigued by the creative capabilities in the dual cameras, as I really enjoy snapping pics. I’m currently using a P2XL and the camera on it is amazing. But I’ve never owned a Huawei and this one has me intrigued enough to pick one up. Should be here sometime later next week, so I’ll be sure to report my initial impressions.

For those that have one, is the battery life as advertised? What are some things about Huawei’s EMUI that I should be aware of going in?

If I remember right....at first EMUI will not have an app drawer. So you will have to enable that feature or just rearrange all of you apps a la IOS style.
