If I remember right....at first EMUI will not have an app drawer. So you will have to enable that feature or just rearrange all of you apps a la IOS style.

Good to know. Definitely want an app drawer. May also go ahead and install Lawnchair Launcher, as that’s my launcher of choice ATM.

Looks like delivery is set for 12/26.

Just ordered the Mate 10 Pro from Clove.co.uk. Having it shipped over to me in the States. Looking forward to giving it a go. REALLY intrigued by the creative capabilities in the dual cameras, as I really enjoy snapping pics. I’m currently using a P2XL and the camera on it is amazing. But I’ve never owned a Huawei and this one has me intrigued enough to pick one up. Should be here sometime later next week, so I’ll be sure to report my initial impressions.

For those that have one, is the battery life as advertised? What are some things about Huawei’s EMUI that I should be aware of going in?
I have a Mate10 Pro on review and the battery is phenomenal. The first week you must just give it a good running down to around 10% recharge, after a weekend you'll notice it shoot up. That's what happened with me, it started off good and is now brilliant.

I still prefer my Note8 over it, but it is a brilliant device the Mate10 Pro, the camera has a lot of settings to play with and adjust.

I posted battery stats and findings above if you are interested.

Coming from a Huawei P9 the Mate 10 is a definitely an upgrade, with the battery life delivering. EMUI is pretty good these days offers a great deal of customisation and control over App's, settings are all intuitive with no complaints. Camera is fabulous very impressed so far.

Just seen by accident that the Mate 10 Pro has a cashback offer in the UK currently where certain retailers (basically, all the good UK ones) are offering £100 cash back with the purchase of a Mate 10 Pro. Making the cost of it £599.
All you do is buy one, complete the online claim form on Huawei's website and within 30 days the £100 is transferred back to your account.
Pretty sweet and not tempting in the slightest after I've just spent a week agonising and torturing myself over a Pixel 2 or an iPhone X.

I listed my iPhone X on Gumtree the other day and someone messaged me this morning offering a brand new Mate 10 Pro and £200 in exchange of my X.

I had to have a verrrrry long hard think about it, but ultimately declined. o_O

Got a Mate coming soon to me but in the meantime, Huawei have Android 10 with EMUI 10 coming out for the Mate 10 series, which is hilarious considering Samsung have pretty much dropped the $1000 Samsung Galaxy Note8 that I owned when reviewing the stupendously good Mate 10 Pro.

Stable EMUI 10 hits 16 more Huawei and Honor phones
