My first full day with the N6 has been great. I immediately rooted and flashed Chroma based on the mentions here. Nice clean ROM with lots of tweaks to keep you happy if you're into that. The grip can be slippery when handling this phone so I quickley order a Spigen case for it. Battery has been great on this Chrome rom. Managed to get about five and a half hours of screentime for the day with 13% of battery left. Just did a couple of camera test shots but will take it out this weekend to give the camera a proper go. Loving this phone so far!

Good deal :cool: Yep Chroma ROM is really good, makes the Nexus 6 even better, just so much nicer than plain jane stock. Plus battery life is really improved running Chroma.

Nothing I know about. I'm at 74% battery now with 1hr46mins screen on time.

.. Update
69% and 2hr06 mins SOT

5 1/2, 6 here as well

What am I doing wrong. I have Bluetooth on all the time, but that could not be killing the battery that much I would not think. I keep the brightness on auto, and I keep WiFi on most of the time. My battery seems terrible compared you guys. If I could get that kind of screen on time I could go 2 days without a problem.

I use google services, i turn off google location history. Everything else has location access but location history constantly polls Google with your location which invariably causes battery drain.

Its needed if you want transit alerts in google cards, but I don't get them here anyway so there is nothing I lose my turning it off. I don't need my phone to tell me I'm 10 minutes from home everyone I leave the house.

But everything else is enabled.

You also put location to battery saver right?

Cool thing about ROM's like Chroma, are the 'Layers" themes. These are a must have for me IMO. Dark themes on this AMOLED screen help save battery, plus they looks great;

TimberWolf

Sublime
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bitsykolayers.sublime&hl=en

And you need the Layers app to run these;

Thanks for posting this!! I just installed a PlayStation Layer. The Amoled screen is simply beautiful! I love the deep contrast and how colors POP. However the only fault I can find with this phone is the outside visibility.

Yep outside visibility suffers indeed.

Have to say I'm really liking this phone a lot now. With my thin Nillkin case + CaseBase tempered glass screen protector, and Chroma ROM + TimberWolf theme.

Just a fantastic device. And no phone is perfect.

Last couple phones:
> Lumia 1520
> iPhone 6+

And now this!

I can't go back to a smaller phone. >_>
Yeah I have this and the 6+ and I just love the size. Having the bigger screen plus a bigger batter is worth it. Now the 6+ plus seems a bit small compared to this.

I kind of have to agree with that. I went back to the iPhone 6+ for a week and one of the things that made me come back again was the screen size. It's a nice screen. I've always wondered what the Mega would be like, to be honest.

There are some things I miss about my iPhone, and I am hoping android wear will come to iOS so I can switch back and forth.
