iPod touch iJailBreak Released!

did full restore and dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libreadline.5.2.dylib

Problem with the SSH Install Phase
As soon as I get to the installing SSH step (after the jailbreak and the reboot) I get this error as soon as I click OK:
Any thoughts? This the second time I've gotten this error. The first time I did a recovery on the iPod and started the process over and still got the error.

Just plug in and go???
do i just plug in my ipod to my computer and start iJailbreak?
Or do i need to do any thing to my ipod touch before starting iJailbreak, do i need to clear out all my songs/pics/vids or anything?
also, should i close itunes before i start iJailbreak, should i leave it open, or what?
And do i need to navigate to the tiff exploit site on my iPT before i start, or does iJB do that for me?

so yeah I am most definatly having a major error....so I got it through the first couple of steps and it was installing whatever it was installing...and then it kinda just froze...well it was on that screen for at least an hour to an hour and 15min...so I stopped it and tried starting over....then it stayed on the jailbreaking FOREVER....so I stopped that and was going to do a restore and now it wont even come up on my mac.....at all....or any other computer in the house....it charges and all but wont come up as a ipod to sync....what do I need to do...umm trying to "jail break" again but its taking forever!

I tried to manualy jailbreak from windows, but my comp crashed and screwed that up, so now im looking at this. When in this proccess do we crash our touch with the TIFF image?
Just to make sure, you're running Tiger, right? This process is only for mac.
You know this is only for intel Macs, are you using windows or OS X?

YAY!!! I fixed it...had to go into recovery mode on a different computer.....wow that scared me.,...going to try this again and actually be patient...lol
Alright, thanks, i plan on doing this tomorrow. By the way, fantastic work making this at your age.
This worked for me. Fire up spotlight and search for the folder called "opt", then delete it. Run the app again it should work now.
So I installed some iPhone apps and they work fine but when I try to ssh (to change my password) I log in ok except all I get is # for a prompt. No commands like ls or cd work it just says command not found.
Anyone have any idea what's up?

well, it worked, except that iTunes doesn't see the musics or video on the iPod. Neither does the iPod. But it knows it's on there!!!! I have about 7 gig full, of nothing!

I get that error message too. Arix, do you have a suggestion? I've tried it 4 times, fully restoring and starting from scratch each time.
