To be honest, that had crossed my mind, but I'd like to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and assume that's not the case.

Incidentally, I think one of the best reviewers for cold, hard, unbiased and thorough reviews is Lisa from Mobile Tech Reviews. That lady knows her stuff and is unbiased and fair! If iJustine's are the most lighthearted and fun tech videos, Lisa's are probably the most informative.

Ironically no I caught them all. The male reviewers were taken to task for their content. Not being compared to a cat in terms of their editorial review on a product that they just so happen to be well versed in.

Not all of them were. Personality and attitude were also subject to critique.

I don't think the YT influencers are paid by Apple. With 3, 4 or 5M subscribers and millions of views per review/unboxing, that's a decent chunk of $ for the influencer and lots of 'free' marketing for Apple to a demographic that doesn't watch traditional broadcasting (i.e. TV).
BTW, iJustine makes about $1400/video and has a net worth of around $2.4M. I've seen enough comments on MR recently about how she's 'some dumb girl getting excited over Apple products,' and that's sickening to read/hear. Read her backstory - she's been doing this way before YT was remotely popular and has earned every subscriber and dollar she has.

You have other good youtubers like unbox therapy and others who don’t get a review version yet ijustine somehow manages to get one when she’s irrelevant when it comes to talking tech or reviewing it.

Ijustine is a very good YouTuber who reviews android devices as well and gives a fair view. She just loves Apple products

iJustine is has fun reviews and she had a massive following but when it comes to tech she’s not very knowledgeable. Can’t argue with that following though - she’s one of the biggest YouTubers out there.

Here we go, I was wondering when the you are sexist because you don’t like a female reviewer would come up and it’s taken two pages. If you don’t agree or don’t like a certain female then you are branded sexist.

What you mean tried to ruin iPhone 6? Bend gate was thing just like scuf gate before it. A phone shouldn’t bend when it’s in your pocket and he rightly took them to task for that. That’s not ruining Apple.

The next year iPhone 6s was harder to bend and the phones following that have been harder to bend. So you could say he did everyone a favour by exposing it because his criticism led Apple to improving the durability of their phone which is always a good thing.

I've noticed this as well, he hates on anything expensive saying there's a million things cheaper that do just as good a job or even better. I've never seen him positively review an Apple device, yet he's always crying about not being invited to any Apple events or getting products to review lol. Not the brightest bulb in the shed.

Its a stance he’s taken. Obviously working with 6mln+ subscribers

Surely he can’t hate Apple. Unboxtherapy is usually critical of everything. Which is refreshing then listening to yes people like MKHD and ijustine. I rather listen to someone who is saying what they truly feel then someone just hyping it up. If you tell someone to review the product they need to be honest about it.

I like EverythingApplePro and he clearly loves Apple products, but if I recall, I think the issue with him is that he does (did?) videos about jailbreaks. Apple has always been against people hacking iOS.

This is, BTW, a very odd thing to gripe about. I agree that iJustine isn’t incredibly informative, but she’s fun to watch and most people watch her for that reason. If you want informative, you have MKBHD, that big dude with the beard from The Verge, Jonathan Morrison, etc. lots of options out there for everyone’s tastes.

That's a pretty serious accusation for which you have no basis. From what other reviewers that work with Apple have said in the past, they get loaners that are boxed up and sent back. iJustine may not be to everyone's liking including my own, but from the times I have heard her on other podcasts I have no reason to doubt her ethics, and honestly neither do you.

I have no problem with ijustine I watch her videos on occasion but I’m a flossy carter guy. Lol. Him and white shoes (his cat) even though he’s a Samsung guy loves his notes because of spen but I do enjoy his reviews of iPhones and tech in general as well as cases.
