To those who have this screen protector, how does the home button cutout and earpiece cutout feel? Does it catch on your finger when you slide your finger across it, or is it still pretty smooth despite being not rounded? Especially on the home button, how does it feel on your finger when you run your finger around the edge while pressing the home button? Does it really feel as thin as a regular plastic screen protector?

All i can really compare it to is a regular Spigen Ultra Crystal PET screen protector that I had on my old 5. It really is that thin, but with the benefit of being glass. While Spigen has very low distortion and practically no rainbow effects, the clarity of the iloome flexible does beat it since it is glass. It kinda shocks me that Spigen hasn't released a product like this first, since they've flooded the market with so many varients of the GlasT. The iloome is so thin, i don't think it matters if it has rounded edges for the TouchID home button...not having rounded edges on the border might be an issue for nicks and cracks though. Seriously the best screen protector I've ever used and I only bought it because it was 17 bucks.

I got the Mime Feather Glass for my 5s. I used my 4s without a screen protector, but decided to give these new glass protectors a try. I'm really impressed; it was super easy to install, the feather glass is unbelievably thin, isn't a fingerprint magnet, and feels just like you are using the phone without a protector. Light years better than the wet application screen protector I used on my original iphone. Highly recommended.

I just ordered the iloome flex over the mime feather purely due to the price. The iloom is $17 and the mime is $28, and they have a similar thickness. If they were the same price, I would've gotten the mime feather because it seems to offer a tougher protection.

How do these glass screen work if you have a case that has a "lip" on the front (wraps around a bit like the Speck Candyshell Grip cases) so it can be put face down. Do they fit?

I got my iloome yesterday. Had a scratch on it out of the box. Waiting to hear back from them.

How bad was the scratch? Was it a huge blatant scratch as if someone slashed it with knife, or a mark that you need to shine a light at a certain angle to see? I know this screen protector is more prone to scratches than other glass ones, so I just want to get an idea. Thanks

It was a a scratch between 1 and 2 inches long. You could see it at any angle. Don't think it was caused by a knife, and package it came in was perfect. It was not on top plastic film, or back protecting film, so it had to have occurred prior to that final step.

i installed one with my belkin candy sheer and i installed it a little too high so when i hit the power button it lifted the glass up. this glass is really flexible so i just took it off and moved it down, no issues now.

This looked so tempting, I really wish more companies adopted a replacement policy like BG, that's what keeps me coming back to them.

For $16, I bought two. Packaging as described in the youtube reviews and appreciate the humorous thank you letter. I think more companies should have a sense of humor about themselves!

Install was easy, the hinge method in a steamy bathroom is by far the best way to apply any screen protector.

The "tackiness" of the glass wore off in a matter of hours and you can't even tell it's there anymore.

It didn't come with a squeegy for air bubbles, but with tempered glass, it appears you dont really need it, it all worked out great.

Great quality, great protection, highly recommended! :)

So you're saying it's fairly was it to remove the screen protector and re-install it? This is good news for me because I may be replacing my 5 with a 5s sometime soon. Still decided whether the 5s features are worth the upgrade.

Thanks to this thread, I purchased one and love it. Went on easily using the hinge-method they suggest. Feels great - so thin, but very smooth and clear.

Great find!

Same here, I installed the iloome in a steamy bathroom and it worked out great!!

I really like this protector, let's see how it does over a few weeks of usage.

I just installed one. First time with a real glass screen protector, and I've gotta say it is great! The hinge tape idea is a simple one but ingenious and works very well. I used a steamy shower and got it perfectly aligned with no bubbles or dust. Highly recommended. *thumbs-up*

Looks very impressive. Only caveat I have is that it's an adhesive. Do they make any that are "static" cling, similar to the powersupport ones? I've used the PS ones for years now and love em mainly because of this.

Ok what's the whole thing about steamy bathroom? Can someone fill me in? I've never heard of that

There's no dust flying around in a steamy bathroom, so there isn't that last second piece of micro-dust that gets in there as you're laying the protector down. Works like a champ.

Wouldn't you get some steam stuck in there though? That can't look too good.

(kidding)

Omg. This is genius... How come I never thought of that??

Would you recommend this hinge method for non-flexible glass screen protectors as well?
