3. Steamy shower - been doing this since putting on Screen Protectors back when I had my Palm Treo, generally just running hot water in a sink will do the trick. No, moisture isn't trapped underneath - just have enough humidity to keep the dust under control.

Correct, a sink full of hot water is nearly as effective, there's a lot less particle in the air in a bathroom in general, steamy or not, so it's better to apply there. The lighting in a bathroom is generally bright and direct as well, so it's easier to line transparent films on your phone.

How was your customer experience with them so far?

They have been nothing but great..responded to my emails almost instantly and after I sent them the pics they requested, they took care of the problem the following day...

Same here...they've been great in responding to my queries as well. E-mailed them on weekend re: the same questions I asked here (see post #71 above).
For anyone considering this screen protector - heres a copy of their answers to those questions:

"1) You should be able to configure your fingerprint ID on the home button after applying the screen protector.
2) But it's not a bad idea to set the fingerprint ID first.
3) Our understanding is the iPhone Apple Leather case will fit, but your experience may vary.
4) As for steamy shower application, we do recommend that or any other type of dust-free environment, as that is the #1 concern for a successful screen protector installation.
5) Our ScreenMate Flex products are glass products as they have significant % of its chemical composition is silica-cased that has a polyurethane layer for oleophobic coating, and a polyethylene terephthalate layer for its shatterproof function."

Ordered it thru Amazon on Sat. It shipped today!........Now if only my IPhone 5s moved as quickly (ordered from Apple online store 26 Sept. - but no movement or shipping update yet.....rotten:apple: :(

hows you're flex holdin' up ? any hairline scratches so far?

Holding up pretty good, no scratches yet. Looks just as new like the day I got it.

----------

You make me laugh.... the bulky and obvious.... How many people said to you, "wow, what's that huge protector you have on your phone?"

He's referring while using it. How deep it can be to hit the home button. The glas.t and the pure are .4mm they require home button sticker and make a lot of cases incompatible for that reason alone. This screen protector is .12mm practically as thin as a plastic one but made of glass. It can be used with almost any case.

.4mm bulky and obvious
.12mm thin and sleek

This :)

The BG Pure was protruding and obvious to me. Not that I would use one of those home button stickers, but it would render my touch ID useless on the 5S.

.4mm very thin and barely noticeable
.12mm even thinner and even more less noticeable

Fixed your quote for you!

It certainly doesn't REQUIRE a button on there to use it as my wife (yes my wife) and I do just fine using the Pure without a button. I know it's all a personal choice but ffs, it's freaking .4mm.... that in no way affects the operation of the phone. Some may not like that recessed feel but I for one prefer it as it gives my finger a "home". I had my pure on with an incase slider, graft leverage, the wife uses several different slider style cases without issue.

I know YMMV but some people are way over the top when describing things sometimes.

Just got mine. Went on easily and you can't even tell there is a protector on the screen. A great accessory!

Mine also arrived today. So easy to install, and went on perfectly.

Since I have gotten my 5s, 2 days after release date, I have gone through 2 of the Spigen Ultra Clear SP's. Both showed scratches after only a couple days use.

I am looking forward to putting the iLoome Flex to the test. It will be in and out of my back pocket. Hopefully it will live up to it's excellent reviews.

any tips or tricks for the install?

I bought mine and used the hinge method to install. Works flawlessly and perfect alignment. :D

From far it feels like there's no screen protector on the phone at all. The oleophobic is buttery smooth too.

What case is that ?

I'll just add my thoughts like the masses...

I've only had mine on my 5s for two days, but it is really nice.

Buy this.

Just put our screen protectors on from iloome. First impressions, smooth like glass and can't hardly tell there's a protector on there. We had the SGP Crystal protectors and honestly they're good too but these are better. Loving it so far...

I have this on my phone and it does not feel like you have a protector on the screen. The only difference in feel is the ledge around the home button.

I'd like something like this for the back of my phone...Is there a back protector thats similar to this?

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I had a super cheap extreme guard on my phone for the last week and I hate it, the feel is terrible, the clarity is not great and it is hard to clean.

I finally broke down and ordered this one as I want a screen protector on but don't want to lose the clarity and feel of the glass.

Hope it gets here quick :)
