The June keynote usually is focused on software and the September one is focused on hardware to run the software that was announced in June.
We'll see how it goes tho.
Wait a few months even, might be September.
I thought about this in the shower, where I do my best thinking. Here's my shower insight
Apple's going to be releasing some great $hi^ @ WWDC. I'm thinking upgraded MBPs and Ipad pros. Why?
The event is being streamed by apple. They released the new ipad with pencil support in an event that wasn't streamed. The world will be watching this one so assuming they have some stream worthy products isn't so hard to believe.
I'm telling ya, great $hi^!
Shower insight.
You're welcome.

And I'm willing to bet my ex-wife's kidneys for this.
Look at the rumors, no iPads. So for those on the fence, just hit that BUY button.![]()
What good stuff if no IPad Pro with ID which everyone will buy? SE rumors have gone cold as well. Beats don’t count.
iPads have been on sale here and there...
Microcenter a few weeks ago, ...
Add Zagg to the list. 50% off every IPP case or keyboard. Never seen this in 2 years.
Well, since WWDC is this Monday, we’ll all find out very soon wether or not Apple is gonna announce new ipad pros. I’m leaning toward yes. Even with the lack of leaks, there have been enough rumors about redesigned ipad pros to point to an update at WWDC. I’m also hoping that Apple decides the fate of the ipad mini at this event. Especially with the release of the 2018 ipad with pencil support. It just makes the ipad mini 4 look that much More out of place in the line up. It’d be great to see an ipad mini pro...but i’d take a regular ipad mini with pencil support.
Mini + large IPP is about the perfect combination and my dream set up. BUt I don’t see an update right now. First the IPP foes edge to edge (on either both the current sizes or a new in between version). Perhaps (wishful thinking) March 2019 the mini goes edge to edge. A poster in another thread did the math and you can get just abiut a 9.7 inch screen in the current mini chassis. Add pencil there too and now you have mini fans and 9.7 fans looking at the same device.
The “old style” 329 model ends up being the iPhone SE of the iPad line.
I agree. A 12.9” IPP for at home and a bezel-less 9.7” ipad mini with pencil suupport for on the go would be the perfect set up. I’m torn tho...cause i travel a lot, and if Apple does discontinue the ipad mini, then i’d definitely go for the upcoming bezel-less 10.5” ipad pro rather than the 12.9”. My current ipad mini 2 is about to die...So if Apple doesn’t announce a new mini at WWDC...i don’t think i can wait until next year to find out the mini’s fate, and will probably nab the new 10.5”. But hey...maybe they will announce the new pros & a new mini at WWDC. Only a few more days to find out.
Apple got caught with their pants down, and that video is merely “suspenders” while they work on making a better “belt”. They very much want to restore faith in the MacBook line — all their developers use them, as well as (from what I’ve seen) 3 out of 4 college students (to name just 2 of their customer demographics). You are assuming that Apple wants to keep the macOS device lines appealing to consumers. That's a reasonable assumption. And your reason for why you think Apple should showcase new hardware at WWDC is compelling.
I'm more cynical. I think this is Apple simply "cashing out" on their past reputation for desktop computing. Or maybe it is some PsyOps program. I watched the "official" Apple video for how to blow dust out of the new keyboards and thought, "this can't be for real. It has to be satire, like the Onion". Nope, legit.

It was not 50% for all, I picked up the slim book for my new IPP 10.5, the sale was for memorial day, however I am starting to think more and more that at the least there will be an upgraded pro 10.5 and all I really care about is that the form factor does not change...Then if I decide to I can return my IPP and but the new one, worse case scenario is I return it, my case and screen protector and get all new...that is the beauty of 45 day return policy that I have on the case, IPP, screen protector and even pencil...as I saw a rumor today that a new one may come...
I cant remember, I was searching for A11X, and cam across it...You’re covered in all ways. Where did you see the rumor?

How do you know that they "very much want to restore faith in the Macbook line"? I'm not being snarky, but I'm curious as to how you can be so certain?Apple got caught with their pants down, and that video is merely “suspenders” while they work on making a better “belt”.
