Sequoia green and deep cherry leather cases are here! Love the green, it’s a brighter forest green from the iPhone 11 series.

Also comparison shots against Baltic Blue from last year.

Adorable floofy kitties! Admit it, when you upgrade your cameras, it’s for them!

Each human member of my family has filled our iCloud storage with thousands of cat and dog photos! 🤣
Yaaaasss girl! 🤣🤣That’s exactly right! I think I’m pushing 11,000 photos now!!

my 12 pro max is still doing the trick so I’m passing on this years release. But next year it’s on! Lol

Just for what it’s worth for anyone looking to get a cool case that’s beautiful and super high quality check out Carved.com. I LOVE their cases (especially their live edges). That’s actually a huge reason I’m not upgrading this year because I have some beautiful cases I’d like to enjoy another year!
Everyone enjoy your new phones!!

I like rotating cases, so I'm going with Apple leather cases in the green, cherry, and black for my new 13 Pro Max. I'm upgrading from the Xr, which Apple never made a leather case for, so I am happy to have the option again of an "OEM" leather case. Had a few CC points to use up, so it softened the blow of the cost for all three cases, lol.

I need (yes need cause I’m a nerd dont @ me lol) a red case. Any recs for a real red case (not that dark cherry stuff) that’s not the Apple silicone case?

Question - I haven't tried an Apple Silicone case in a few years, last time I had one they were very sticky and hard to get in and out of pockets, and everything stuck to them (lint, dirt, etc.). Has Apple fixed that, or are they still that way?
They're not as bad as they used to be. The darker colors take a few uses to wear in and after that the only thing you'll have to worry about is smudges, and there will be a lot of them.

Definitely for the kitty pictures! We have 9!
That’s a fantastic number. Never a dull moment! I had that many during the lockdown when I was fostering kittens! I have a lot of fully vetted feral cats outdoors that I photograph, too, so I’m happy Apple has increased the zoom to 3x.

I did find out Apple pro phone cameras really do great at freezing action even in low light. My 12 mini does well, too. I’m looking forward to seeing if there’s much of a difference with the new camera changes.

Just ordered the same for my graphite 13pro. It’s the third time I’ve bought this case (XS and 12) and I just love it.
Question for you and any others that have used the Liquid Air. Is it a more rubbery grippy finish? Or is it slippery?

Ideally I would use a clear case, but I hate how they end up feeling slimy - I live in Florida so during the wet months with high humidity, this is an issue. They also are prone to showing fingerprints.

Can't stand silicone. It sticks in your pocket and brings all the pocket lint with it. Tried it with my last iPhone purchase and returned it.

The only case I've used last 4 years. Spigen always makes this model.

Same. Gonna go with this case to start off with. If I see something better down the road I'll get it, but for $15 you can't go wrong. It's not the most attractive case, but it looks fine enough. It's nice and grippy in your hand and never feels dirty or slimy. It fits perfectly with great button response. It offers a good amount of protection without being bulky like the Spigen Tough Armor case. I also like the cutout for the Apple logo, which allows you to at least sort of see the color you chose, but more importantly, it offers an extra point of grip/support for your fingers. I have short fingers and its useful as a resting point that allows my thumb to reach the whole screen one-handed. The cutout means it doesn't work with wireless charging... I think? But I don't use it.

As far as screen protectors go, I prefer to not use them, but that said, amFilm on Amazon is pretty great. I'm surprised I have not seen them mentioned. The glass feels like the screen itself, has smoothed edges, and you get a pack of 3 + an applicator kit for only $9.

Also it's worth noting that there's essentially no difference in protection between the cheapest tempered glass screen protectors and the $20-50 ones. Don't waste your money. There are multiple YouTube videos with tests that demonstrate this.

It’s in the middle. It’s not as rubbery as the premium otter boxes (with the fine texture that grips really well) but definitely not slippery. I never worry the phone is going to fall out of my hand or feel that I need a pop socket or anything like that; very easy to grip.

So far, neither of the versions I’ve used have gotten a patina that makes them more slick either. They look more or less the same as the day I got them.

Only annoyance is that occasionally crumbs or debris will get lodged in the groves on the back of the case. Although, frankly it’s kind of relaxing cleaning it out with my fingernails in long meetings.

Well, I was showing what the Dark Cherry looked like in full sunshine yesterday. Got the Wisteria this morning and no bright afternoon sun for a comparison shot. I was just showing how the Dark Cherry looked looked in different lighting conditions and one of those conditions was next to the Wisteria in my office.
Which color do you think will look better on Sierra blue ?

smudges? like the smudges on glass?

(I'm still trying to convince myself I'll be OK with a siicone cuz there seems to be so much hate/dislike for them!)

Yes. I’ve used them every iPhone release since the X. I love their cases. I do wait until they have a sale mainly their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale to buy from them.
Thank you! I may give them a try they are super cute. Do they hold up well?
