Ideally I would use a clear case, but I hate how they end up feeling slimy - I live in Florida so during the wet months with high humidity, this is an issue. They also are prone to showing fingerprints.
Can't stand silicone. It sticks in your pocket and brings all the pocket lint with it. Tried it with my last iPhone purchase and returned it.
The only case I've used last 4 years. Spigen always makes this model.
The name Spigen derives from the two German words mirror and gene, which means mirror and gene. Both have been combined to reflect the ideology behind our values in creating solutions that reflect the needs of our valued customers.

Same. Gonna go with this case to start off with. If I see something better down the road I'll get it, but for $15 you can't go wrong. It's not
the most attractive case, but it looks fine enough. It's nice and grippy in your hand and never feels dirty or slimy. It fits perfectly with great button response. It offers a good amount of protection without being bulky like the Spigen Tough Armor case. I also like the cutout for the Apple logo, which allows you to at least sort of see the color you chose, but more importantly, it offers an extra point of grip/support for your fingers. I have short fingers and its useful as a resting point that allows my thumb to reach the whole screen one-handed. The cutout means it doesn't work with wireless charging... I think? But I don't use it.
As far as screen protectors go, I prefer to not use them, but that said, amFilm on Amazon is pretty great. I'm surprised I have not seen them mentioned. The glass feels like the screen itself, has smoothed edges, and you get a pack of 3 + an applicator kit for only $9.
Also it's worth noting that there's essentially no difference in protection between the cheapest tempered glass screen protectors and the $20-50 ones. Don't waste your money. There are multiple YouTube videos with tests that demonstrate this.
