Maxed out 18 core “In Progress”, Credit Card has been Charged. On the other hand my Home Pod is getting ready to ship, my credit card for that was charged 2 days after the iMac Pro, but the iMac Pro is stuck on “In Progress”. Feb 6 for the Pro is impossible I think...

Great to hear it's finally getting out of the blocks. My status hasn't changed so might be that US getting them first? Maybe I'll get a Friday treat and see something has changed!

I've stopped following the MacPro forum because all of the excitement is here. Can't wait for the new MacPro after seeing the performance and results of the iMac Pro.

Hello all, I ordered an iMac Pro with an 18 core configuration back on release day, and my estimated delivery date is still Feb 6 - 20th. I was wondering if anyone else has ordered an 18 (or 14) core variant and had an updated delivery. When I ordered the computer, Apple estimated 4-8 weeks. If it arrived on Feb 2, that would be 8 weeks. I understand that Intel is holding the purchase up with their release of the processors, but still this seems like Apple underestimated the wait time.

I'm in the USA, for reference.

Well done.... you should receive credit for your patience for sure. It must have been an agonizing wait...

Not to rub it in, but my 10-core got to me within 24 hrs after ordering it from B&H on Jan 15th (with a -$500 promo discount) and after waiting 4 weeks with no status on my previous 10-core order place Dec 15, 2017 with my business retailer, which I had to cancel.

My ultimate nightmare is that I receive this beast, unbox it ... and it's a lemon and I need to send it back for a replacement. Apple wouldn't charge me for this I know, but I would have to wait longer.

I had to do this with my 10-core, which had a misaligned screen hanging off the right side about 2 mm. Sent it back and was refunded, but ended up not ordering the replacement yet, as I'm still trying to decide between the 10-core and 18-core! Been eagerly awaiting a reviews like the one from Jonathan Morrison that came out today.

Placed an order on 12/26/18. Apple canceled the order for some unknown reason. Vesa mount and other accessories were already delivered and AppleCare+ status still says "complete".

My 14 core system is now Preparing For Shipment. I don’t know if I’ve seen anyone else reporting a 14-core system being shipped or delivered yet.

Hmmm... Maybe it’s because it’s the weekend or status is different between Apple’s internal systems or something but my order keeps changing between Order In Progress and Preparing For Shipment.

Meh... Not sure what’s going on with my 14-core. It kept flipping between “Order In Progress” and “Preparing for Shipment” and finally settled on “Preparing for Shipment” for about 24 hours. It’s now back to “Order in Progress” and the authorization has disappeared from my credit card. I’m not seeing any reports of 14-core systems shipping yet... Although I’m not sure how popular that configuration really is. ...I could really use the system about now and hope it ships soon.
