Did they say why it was "stuck" - what was the issue?

Fedex picked the package up at 12 AM GMT-5 yesterday (tuesday) from Shanghai and they just let it sit in a warehouse until 3:15AM GMT-5 today (wednesday), left Shanghai and now is in some town somewhere in South Korea 5:30 AM GMT-5. Honestly that is some bs.

It's now 22:31 PM or 10:31 GMT-5 (wednesday) and Fedex still did not update their website  Now I remember why I hate Fedex, bunch of lazy people there.

Trying to do business with them here in Canada. Only way they pick up a shipment if its International or wtv. If its a ground shipment, you have too bring it to them.

Apple use DHL or UPS next time.

Stuck in pudong...

I just wanted to give a litte update to all those, whose consignment is stuck in pudong (shanghai) since august 11th, with a tnt tracker showing "Potential connection delay":

Few minutes ago I called tnt germany, and a very kind person there told me, everything now is working properly and the consignment is on its way to Duiven (Netherlands), near Arnehm. Delivery for German consignments, she told me, is going to take place tomorrow.

It could be that those issues have caused the current backlog. Maybe us waiting for them to fly will see some movement tonight.

What number did you give TNT as my reference number starting 80 is coming up as invalid when I call them?

Fedex' tracking system online is horrible...i got a friend of mine tracking my package down at Fedex. Last time i checked mine (maybe ours, since we live in the same city) left North Korea and is heading to either Memphis or Anchorage (Alaska).

Thx for the heads up :)

It would make more sense if it flew into Alaska.

The reference number only becomes valid when the package has been received at the EDC.

Ah, that explains that then! Looks like there's nobody to moan at about the boxes being stuck in Shanghai then!

I do! Believe me. :(
Meanwhile, did you try to contact TNT again?

Yip, but I don't have a suitable reference number yet so they said they couldn't help. The tracking info on the site just says "flight booked" on the 12th August.

Okay, now I see. That means your consignment is being shipped by Kuehne + Nagel (you are able to track via apecode?), hence you don't have a valid TNT consignment number by now. Did you order anything else then an iMac?

Sorry, yes, its with Kuehne + Nagel just now so I'm using apecode. I also ordered Applecare, but its being shipped in the same consignment this time. Last time, the Applecare pack arrived within a few days.

Strange. That means ordering a simple protection plan, causes the whole consignment first to be merged in the Netherlands, before being delivered to its receiver. Is it just me, seeing some sort of overhead there? ;)

original delivery date estimate was aug 21-27. I bought it the day after it was announced. It is estimated to arrive at noon (in 1.5 hours!). Just got my OWC ram just now...cost 38$ for duties..i forgot about that. It's looking like a good day!

+1 .

MUCH PREFER the UPS tracking system. They update it much more frequently and things generally do not seem to sit in shipping facilities as long.

My status has changed to "prepared for shipment" :D What is the usual amount of time between that and actual shipping?

Looks like there's been one shipment received in Europe as quite a few people (not me obviously) have had their tracking info updated to show their machines have arrived in Arnhem.

Mine got delivered yesterday

Ordered the 9th, shipped the 10th or 11th (can't remember now), delivered the 14th
