This is so true. I feel I'm stuck in another pyramid scheme and I don't think anyone has heard of that seller. daxgsm. he seems legit from the uk.

Yeah nothing as legit as someone from another country having access to THIS country's cellular carrier's unlock system....:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yeah. When I placed the order I thought he submits the orders through the UK system. After I paid he said that he has a contact in the US.:rolleyes:
I've heart that ideviceguys can get it done? Waiting to see someone's confirmation to see if theirs is gone through but then they may want to keep that information confidential.

Yeah I've yet to hear of anyone successfully paying and unlocking (at any price) today or recently.

I had a phone unlocked through ideviceguys and another through iphonesolutionsllc just this week. Took about 5 days both times. Both phones were 4s. I haven't heard of anyone being able to get a 5 or 5s unlocked successfully though.

guys, why unlock iphone for AT&T was so expensive, now? is there any sites that provided less than $ 30 for unlocking iphone 4 from AT&T off contract? if there, where? thanks a lot

Just read a great article at WSJ.com called "The Mystery of the iPhones That Won't Unlock."

Explains why we have been having so much trouble with IMEI unlocks.

Used fusionunlock.com to unlock an iPhone 4 AT&T USA in June 2012. Very good and fast service.

Sorry failed. It was February in 2013 :D Bought the unlock via eBay and managed it then via e-mail.

IMEI Unlock Sites

3 weeks since I ordered unlock at Chronics for 3GS 2009 with a clean IMEI. No response, Will even answered my email last week saying that's this was unusual, and that he would check what is going on.

No response since them

Chronics continues selling AT&T unlock

lol..I'd love to be a "apple hacker/dev" with so many followers on Twitter and realize I can sell factory unlocks 125% more to naive people who don't know they can get it for A LOT cheaper!..(especially HackiPhone) this guy claims he is direct/offers the cheapest prices (blah, blah, blah) and offers outrageous pricing to his followers..and they pay!

Anyway, my point is, anyone looking for a factory unlock for any network worldwide, contact me. Or, if you're considering purchasing from a website/a "hacker/dev" on twitter, I can find you a better price or prove the website's legitimacy.

Hi, I would appreciate any help at all. I need an AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 unlocked. I have purchased an unlock from unlocksexpress.com for $25 about 3 days ago. They have not given me a code or responded to my email yet. I can really get my money back, ask I want is to find a place that can actually unlock the device.

Chronic Unlock Big Boss answered my email today saying it should be done by tomorrow or next day.
Chronics is running, just taking a little bit longer, but it seems to be this way with everyone

You may have your reasons, but with that old of an iPhone, why don't you just downgrade the baseband and use ultrasn0w rather than mess with the now-flaky IMEI unlock grey market?

do not trust IDEVICE GUYS UNLOCK!

Hey I sent an unlock request and paid $100 in OCTOBER! And nothing, IDEVICE GUYS UNLOCK are not even responding e-mails anymore and they are now posting on their webpage fake costumer reviews on the same day and time..? Mmm.. :apple::mad:

Don't trust idevice guys, over one month and they don't even reply e-mail anymore, I have benn contacting other idevice guys clients and they had no answer... I think they are getting as much money as they can before they shut down or something.

Or even better, have AT&T unlock it for FREE and PERMANENTLY.

People, if a phone is off-contract in the USA - the carrier is REQUIRED BY LAW to unlock it at no charge.

Now if I could just get my 5s unlocked :(

The problem is that's not entirely true, the laws are vague and there's no criteria outlined that specifically defines what "off contract" means... because technically you're always on a contract, even if you're not bound to a "term commitment" on your account, so that's why the FCC is pushing congress to act on new legislation specifically defining parameters to say eligible or not, make the carriers proactively notify customers on eligibility, etc.

But per ATT's POLICY, yeah, when the commitment has been fulfilled, they're eligible for unlock.

Could you elaborate on this?
Is there a specific court ruling or something I could point to.

I will take sprint to court if they refuse to unlock my iphone.

his comments are untrue. There are proposed laws being looked at. He's repeating what he hears without knowing what he's talking about.
