his comments are untrue. There are proposed laws being looked at. He's repeating what he hears without knowing what he's talking about.

KK that's what I thought.

Will an IMEI unlock by some random company work to unlock my Sprint iPhone 4S to work on t-mobile?

What exactly do these unlock sites do?

Do you just read headlines or do you read articles too? Had you actually READ, you'd see that it's a proposal, and there are no laws on the books right now.

It's funny when you try to "stick it to someone" by posting a news article which demonstrates MY point exactly. There are PROPOSED laws in place, but nothing is law yet, or even close to being such.

You really should read articles and not just blindly reposting. It makes you look quite uneducated.

Hello everyone,

Just a heads up, DO NOT purchAse from iRescueUnlocks!!! He will scam you and run with your money!

I purchased 2 weeks ago and waited patiently. The person emailed me everyday with some lame excuse, finally he told me my phone was "blacklisted" and won't refund my money.

Complete Bs, I'm still using this phone for AT&T, the original carrier and I am the original owner!

Save your money guys! This guy is a scammer!!

Also I have all the emails I'm willing to share.

Now this is iRescue , I never once advertised on macrumors nor do feel the need to

As far as Eddie above goes , every unlocker at this point knows the difficulty of unlocking AT&T devices , he had an iPhone and on my website it states "do not submit IN CONTRACT iPhones because they will get denied"

AT&T has boosted all types of security so according to email I forwarded to Eddie supplier stated the phone was either not in good standing or blacklisted. Never told him phone was blacklisted.

Terms on my site clearly say no in contract phones because the difficulty is getting tougher each day. I sent Eddie an email explaining the circumstances and showed him what supplier said. Never said a refund wouldn't come as I was sending refunds out all day. Keep in mind he still submitted knowing his phone was still yet in contract , I said I would give him a one time courtesy because he claims he didn't see the red letters. Following my email to him he threatens me bashes me writes on twitter talking to my personal friends along with other things.

After all the bashing he then demands the refund that I was going to grant him despite my terms. As far as the young lady few weeks ago goes , was a miss understanding and we have solved that issue and she has posted here stating that as well.

This is the last time i go back and forth with a customer as I try to run a professional business and I accomodate everyone

Happy Holidays everyone

So why won't you refund him his money? Then he can tell the world what a reasonable person you are.

I am very reasonable , customers have to realize a unlocker will work with you when you make a mistake. As unlockers we have terms , if you make a mistake by not seeing those terms we do attempt to work with you as I did , but once you start treating myself and others around me, why would I give you a courtesy? When I explained to you if it is in contract I can not do. I was ready to be reasonable until he made a threat against me my business and friends, therefore I will stick to my terms & no longer assist someone who is claiming to harm me

If you can't provide the service you shouldn't charge. Here in the UK we have consumer protection laws to protect against conmen like you.

I pity anyone that has paid you for nothing.

conman ? okay let me break it down for you in a way everyone on here can understand.

You as consumers need to number 1 respect sellers. You respect the workers at apple when you buy your apple products correct? you don't yelled threats you don't scream and yell do you ?

Let use apple as an example since this is a apple product based website. You cant go into apple with a broken charger port on your iPhone , ask them to fix it. Now if they say "it may not be able to be done right now at this time we don't suggest you should get it done at the moment please wait a while." You as the consumer says "its not problem I need this done I've looked at your policy and I'm aware of the refund policy and I want to pay anyway just incase you are able to fix it for me."

Now when you come back to get your device , they make you aware like they stated before your iPhone couldn't be fixed. After paying their employees to attempt to fix the phone, ordering supplies from their suppliers etc. You then demand a refund , because you said you weren't aware of the policy even though you stated that you did in fact read it initially. Apple then decides to honor your request this one time. While they are sending out the refund you decide to go on a rant and scream and yell and go outside and tell everyone how apple are "conmen and scammers" after you are done screaming and yelling you then come back saying I demand my refund.

Now why would apple voluntarily give you that COURTESY refund? When they initially said hey you know what maybe you didn't in fact read the policy. You know what they would do , they would say sorry we have decided to stick to our policy and no refund will be granted for your case.

I know first hand this is how they and many other stores worldwide operate.

Consumers are sometimes right yes , but paying attention to detail is important when it comes to terms, and also if you have misunderstood those terms sellers will work with you. But I know no place on earth where you can violently threaten the company , the workers, the workers family , and the owner and then demand something that they were going to give you as a courtesy after you bashed the entire company and threatened to hurt the people involved. It just doesn't make any sense.

Call me a conman or a scammer if you want , at the end of the day what I am is a man who honors the request of his customers at much as he can , has tons of successful transactions , and have plenty of consumers who will vouch for the length I have gone to get things done for them. I called Eddie above multiple times after he sent his threats and bashed the company trying to get an explanation from him and told him that I never once said a refund wasn't coming to him I was in the process of issuing one when he sent violent threats. He persisted on the phone that he would harm others around me. So instead of ignoring my policy and helping him, I decided to stick to my policy. Find me a person that would continually help someone that says they will do such and such of things to them and their friends/family.

I will no longer talk about this issue , as I feel this isn't professional.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and God Bless

You as consumers need to number 1 respect sellers.

You think you deserve respect?

You are a Conlan who charges for something you don't provide.

If you can't provide the service do not charge for it and don't whine like a little child when someone complains.

I'm pretty new to MacRumors just came here to find more unlocking sites, I use iphone-developers more so. but that has to be one of the most honest statements I have heard from an unlocker. iRescue has a point you cant make violent threats against his family and friends and then expect to be helped. I mean comeon is getting your phone unlocked worth saying your going to beat someone up or set their house on fire? I'm not sure what the guy said as a threat but it had to be pretty serious for iRescue to feel unsafe. Just my thoughts. I think that fact that hes being called a conman and a scammer and calling him a baby is pretty ignorant, from what I read he did nothing to make himself a conman. My thoughts

Hey guys, why don't you all just buy some Gevey Sims? They cost like $20 and works pretty well. Can't speak for 5/5S, but I bought a used Sprint 4S and I was able to use the phone on T mobile on iOS 7.0.3

Gevey's blog hasn't been updated since April when it said the 4S was supported on 6.0 and iPhone 5 would be supported 'soon'.

Interposer SIMs need regular software updates to support newer iOs versions, their legality is questionable and support can be lacking.

An official IMEI unlock is far preferable and often cheaper.

I just bought a ChronicUnlock for my 5S. Let's see how long it takes.

Although the price went up to $140, it's still a lot cheaper than buying an unlocked 5S from Apple, or paying AT&T to buy out the contract.

Basically your charging people to unlock phones that they can get AT&T to unlock for free. You are a scam artist you're duping people into paying for something they can get done for free

I understand the difference. I'm just saying that given the current situation, I would prefer paying $20 to get my phone working than paying $100s to sellers that are not guaranteed to deliver carrier unlocks. And yes, Gevey sims does work for iOS 7
