Oh well. Now I have to wait for the case resolution before I can get an unlock from elsewhere. This is such a waste of time and a big nuisance, I'm of a mind to just sell the damn phone and buy an unlocked one. Avoid these amateurs.Hello customers!
I wanted to let you know your unlocks are still in process. Holiday delays have pushed these further than we have anticipated so please bear with us, we should see results very soon
thanks and happy holidays!
I used ideviceguys. Took one day and its 135. slightly cheaper.

No. I ordered 8 days ago, and today received the following message:
So I'm still waiting for the update but I'm feeling a little more hopeful.
I did purchase an R-SIM9 and couldn't get it to work either, it almost looks like it's going to work and then it switches to the activation screen and tells me the card is not authorized. I'm using an AT&T-locked iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4, which is supposedly supported -- yeah, right. That worthless POS is going back.
----------
I got the RSIM 9 Pro and can't get it to work, and the instructions on the web site are written in such bad english they're incomprehensible. Care to share with the class?
Once you insert RSIM 9, there's pop up on your screen showing list of devices. Just pick your device (Mine is iPhone 5S)! It will reboot your device and you're good to go. As simple as that.
After that, go to setting>cellular>toggle Data roaming ON, and 3G or LTE will shows up. The rest is happiness.
I wish... Doesn't work for me :-(
iPhone 5 locked to AT&T, iOS 7.0.4, tried a MetroPCS SIM and a French Free Mobile SIM. No luck with either.
Sorry it took so long to confirm.
The Chronic Unlock worked just fine for my 5S.
Have you tried edit carrier on setting>phone>SIM Application?
There's a known forum with several disgruntled customers regarding his service as of late...
Anyone use www.att-iphone-unlock.com successfully since the troubles started with AT&T? They advertise only $65 for out of contract 4/4S....cheapest I found but I don't know if they're reliable.
Thanks
ATT is free.
Only if you are with AT&T and out of contract, most people here have bought locked phones so AT&T won't unlock them.
AT&T said:General eligibility requirements for unlocking all AT&T wireless devices
You must meet the following requirements to unlock an AT&T wireless device:
The person requesting the unlock code must be one of the following:
A current AT&T customer
A former AT&T customer who can provide the phone number or account number for the account
Your device was designed for use on AT&T's network.
Your device must be paid for in full.
Your device wasn't reported lost or stolen.
You're allowed the following number of device unlocks:
Current customers are allowed up to five device unlocks per account, per year.
Former customers are allowed a total of five device unlocks per former account.
Agreed. However I can speak for myself. From what I know, I feel all the slow unlocked service are stuck in a waiting loop with him. If you approach him and pay for the upgrade, it goes through very quick. But that's my view. I may have just gotten lucky. who knows.
There is a service that a few people have that can unlock any model/imei (no matter the status) the same day or next. This is the only service that is guaranteed working if you don't mind paying the high cost.
I can't believe it's costing so much to unlock. What happened to the guys at http://iphoneimei.info/ ? I did mine with them for $10 back in October.
The guy who was doing the unlocks got arrested? Do you have a source you care to quote?
A source? No, I just heard from multiple places that the 'one shot unlocker' was arrested around 12/10 and he seemed to be the sole source of cheap unlocks.
He was one of many.
