I've tried previously iphoneimei.info and legitunlockcodes. None of these could unlock my at@t Iphones, but the first one gave me back my money without any difficulty. I believe the most reliable are the chronicunlocks and ideviceguys. However they still way too expensive.

Site not to use

Please whatever you do , do not use http://www.anyiphoneimei.com/ to try and unlock.

They are a scam.

Paid them via paypal since the 14th of December and no response to any of my correspondence. Contacted paypal for a refund and got a claim rejection saying as it is a digital purchase, it is not covered by thier buyer protection.

Now i am pursuing the visa chargeback via my bank.

Update on WirelessPros -- I ordered a "2 to 4 day unlock" on December 8.
Today December 22, after sending several emails which all went unanswered, I got the following, shortly after I filed a claim with PayPal:

Oh well. Now I have to wait for the case resolution before I can get an unlock from elsewhere. This is such a waste of time and a big nuisance, I'm of a mind to just sell the damn phone and buy an unlocked one. Avoid these amateurs.

I got a refund from PayPal.

Tried to order from another place but they turned me down because my IMEI starts with 0131 and they claim only IMEIs 0121 to 0129 are out of contract (for iPhone 5)
Ordered from yet another place on ebay, at $65. I'll post an update when I hear from them.

Wow. I didn't know unlocks were so expensive now. I purchased one a year ago for about $2 and I followed the steps and it never worked...or so I thought. I emailed the company and they were quick with replying and told me it should be ok, but I never saw an update or the screen in iTunes.

Fast forward to a few days ago-I did a fresh restore as new and lo and behold I got the message that my AT&T iphone 5 purchased Jan 2013 was indeed successfully unlocked. Lol.

I forgot the name of that company, but I wonder if they're still around.

Anybody know of a cheap place to unlock a 3GS way off contract? It's my old phone, but I want to try a few prepaid services with it before officially making the switch.

Yeah - Call AT&T. Should be free...

So, can someone tell me which website to use to get my At&t iPhone 5 unlocked? The most reliable way and cheapest way. Just got this phone this summer and I really want to go overseas and use it with other carrier.

Unlock 5s Sprint

Can somebody suggest reliable 5S Sprint unlock service. Need to unlock international GSM.

I do need someone. Paid $4 to unlock my 4S about 6 months ago. Need to unlock my 5S but not for $150 :(

For $150? I hope you're referring to the 24 hour service that is being offered recently. This service is going anywhere from $100-$160. Expensive, but it does work.

This service is not and has not been available for a long time. Don't fall victim to someone who claims they can do it.

I believe it is possible, you'll just be paying a lot to do so. I used cellunlocker.net and unlocked 1 iphone and another android phone with no issues.

Thanks. Is there one reliable website that I should use for the 5S?

The FACTS

As has been stated multiple time, VERIZON PHONES CAN'T BE UNLOCKED TO WORK IN THE US but you can unlock then to work overseas. Now if and when this will change due to the new bill in congress - who know but Verizon phones are pretty useless second hand that's why you see a ton for so cheap.

I snagged at 64Gb version and had it unlocked for a German friend, great but not really useful for regular US Joe.

As for the jail breaking and other means, good luck - went down the jail break route and it's not for those without huge ballls! Pain in the arse and when it's time for a new IOS update you have to do it all over again - useless for 99.999% of us but why not for the other handful of folks who want to spend their time with it, why not.
