Oddly enough, my iPhone and Mac seem to be fixed, but the device not having an issue before, my iPad, now has messages out of order.

Put my sim back in my 7+ and tried it and my IPP. Both OS's updated.
iMessages are still out of order for both devices. No change.
Not sure exactly what was fixed with this release. :(

This IS NOT FIXED in 11.2.5. Happening to me still on iPhone 6S and iPad Pro. Unbelievable that it’s a line item on the official list of fixes and still not fixed. This is total BS.

I've noticed since the last update that iMessage is putting the messages out of sequence, as you send a message and the reply will magically appear above that message in the conversation. I've seen it on three of our iphones, it's really annoying.

How do you fix this, or is it an apple problem?

Exact same thing here. iPhone and MacBook Pro working fine, iPad Pro 10.5 doesn't know what to do. Both iOS devices are on 11.3 b1.

Still having the same issue here on my iMac, iPhone and iPad. Perhaps a bit less than before the most recent iOS/macOS updates, but definitely still there.

While I believe I'm noticing it less I still have seen my message move above its reply on my iPhone 6S on 11.2.5.

Did a bit of testing this weekend.
IMessages are out of order for timely replies for my IPhone 7+, IPP 12 G2, Mini 4, rMB.
Same test for text to / from an Android device shows nothing out of sequence.

This is a problem on my Laptop, iPad and iPhones. All running the current OS as of this date/time. WTF Apple? You are sliding badly on a number of fonts QA-wise. Put out software that "just works".

On my laptop it stop receiving texts all together - so I have to keep my phone handy and check it. Sure enough texts come into my phone and are up to 5 minuted delayed on my laptop. This BS is exactly why I left Microsoft 10 years ago. They couldn't handle their own success.
