For those beta testing 4.1, has video playback improved much for 1080p hi10p content?

I'm noticing stutter in high action scenes (such as 5-14s of this sample) in every player except for HD Player Plus (which has so far played everything I've tried perfectly, so the ATV4 can obviously handle it).

*this* close to perfection for me.

Thanks

It's lit! :D

4.1 has been perfect for me ;)

Does the update do anything with h.265 videos. Infuse can't play them without stutter at all, to be fair no app seems to be able to handle this on the ATV4.

Out of interest, have you tried HD Player Plus?

Loving Dark Mode - also the watched indicators with the time remaining shown in graphic form are inspired. Great work.

Edit - I can't work out 'File Management' though. Any help?

File management toggled on allows you to delete files through the app. From what I've read you must have read/write access to the source. I am currently running an AirPort Extreme with a connected hard drive as my source and I am unable to use the delete function. I get an error every time. Not a big deal but it'll definitely be nice once it works.

Very nice update. Too bad you still have the same performance issues with MPEG 2 Video. No other App has this problem with multiple second delay. But MPEG 4 is instant.

What stage do you have the option to delete though? I can't find any point where the option is available.

Can you drop us a quick note with a few more details about your setup?

Have you opened a support ticket on this yet? Would be interesting to learn a bit more about your files.

Thanks. Not working here then. Maybe NFS and SMB shares differ?
Deleting files is currently only available for SMB and FTP/SFTP shares.

I'm running the same set up, did you use your Mac admin details when you connected it? You'd think that would give you all the access you needed

Yes. On December 15, 2015.
Your request (#74001) has been updated. To add additional comments, simply reply to this email.

I have reported multiple times on this forum as well. Things got much better with one release. And also better if I use WiFi instead of Ethernet. But when you compare MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 and MPEG 4 is instant the other is 2-4 seconds on pause restart. And none of the other Apps have this problem (WiFi or Ethernet).

Loving the File Management and Watched Indicator features in this update!

If we can get seasons grouped together in the next update Infuse will be perfect!

Is DTS-MA HD/TrueHD decoded or bitstreamed? Hoping for bitstreaming but it appears it's decoding instead.
H.265 support?
24fps?
Why would a person want to use infuse over plex?
