Loving the File Management and Watched Indicator features in this update!

If we can get seasons grouped together in the next update Infuse will be perfect!
Great to hear! :)

Many browsing improvements coming in 4.2. #staytuned
Is DTS-MA HD/TrueHD decoded or bitstreamed? Hoping for bitstreaming but it appears it's decoding instead.
H.265 support?
24fps?
Why would a person want to use infuse over plex?
Full details on the audio options available in Infuse can be found here.

Should I be able to delete files with "file management" on and using the plex media shares? I don't seem to see the delete option next to the edit button

just checked out the new update 4.1. Got to say Infuse got all of my wish list and more. I have nothing else to ask. From now on, I hope it continues adding more features and ideas from developers and community.

Awesome! That's great to hear.

Enjoy! :)

Infuse Pro is for me, BEST app on my Apple TV 4! Use it every day, works perfect. Looks great. Dark mode is super.

Will there be Infuse (Pro), for android? Like on Android boxes, Nvidia Shield TV?

I always test this app out whenever a new version comes out, but i always experience a slight judder on panning.

With MrMC it's always smooth panning.

My films and tv shows are all 1080p or 720p at 23.976 frames/sec.

Not sure what you mean by "slight judder on panning". I use this app a lot and I have never experienced anything remotely like that. I may be misunderstanding what you are describing.

What i mean is when the camera pans left to right, or up and down it's not quite smooth, it seems a bit steppy or juddery, only slightly but it's easy to notice. If i do a comparison directly with MrMC there is no such issue.

Not sure how else to explain it really.

Because the apple tv doesn't support 24hz which is why you get judder on panning. See post 553.

I am still having problems with losing my "favorites" path if/when I restart my Mac mini. I end up having to redo all of my favorite folders

I've noticed this too.

That is true but everything plays fine using MrMC.

My guess is that one of them is doing the 3:2 pull-down conversion in app, while the other is leaving the job to the Apple TV. And clearly one does a better job than the other. We'd have to know more details from each app provider to know for sure (and which is which).

Yep.
Brilliant app even better!
Thanks. Enjoy! :)

Can you give us a few more details about these files?

Is Infuse set up to use a fixed IP address for your Mac? If so, using your Mac's DNS name (E.G. My-Mac.local) will be a better option.
I've noticed this too.

How can you do any of that stuff on Apple TV? Thought we were stuck with Dolby digital 7.1 and 60hz?

One issue with the update - I have to pause before using the trackpad surface of the remote to scrub through the timeline. Previously I don't think I needed to.
A couple of times the app involuntarily goes to the main apple menu screen (as though thrown out of the app). I don't know why that happens.
With the sound upgrade, my sub isn't clipping at higher volume the way it was with DTS tracks. Audio is definitely better

The scrub issue is actually down to the latest tvOS update its to stop accidental scrubbing while holding the remote. YouTube does this now too.

Not sure about the second problem, not seeing it myself.

HD audio is supported in the latest 4.1 update. More info here. https://firecore.com/blog/14683

However, 24p isn't supported on the ATV4 (yet) - though we are doing everything we can get encourage them to change this. ;) More details here. https://firecore.com/forum/topic/15026

As of 4.1, Infuse uses the new seeking style found in tvOS 9.2.

A demo can be seen here.

No clipping is a good thing. :)
