Did you buy it as an in app purchase in the free app?
I don't remember but it's a possibility that I downloaded the free app then upgraded to Pro (through in-app purchase) after trying it out. Not sure.

Edit: just went to App Store Purchase email and it does say it was an in app purchase.

If you upgraded via In-App, download the free version and your past purchase should be restored automatically. You can also tap 'Restore' on the purchase prompt if it happens to appear.

If you're using Family Sharing you'll need to follow the steps here.

Opened the free version. Tells me I need to upgrade to pro version. Hit Restore. Says in-app purchases are not allowed.

I do have family sharing. So I guess the link you provided me with is what I will have to do. Right?

You may also check to ensure In-App purchases are enabled in the Parental Controls Settings menu. However, if you're attempting to restore the purchase on a device of a family member you'll need to follow the steps in the post linked above.

What a nightmare! Parental Controls was enabled. Couldn't remember the pin to disable it. Had to reset the aTV and reinstall all of the apps. Last step was to install Infuse. Looks like it installed the Pro version. However, now I can't get it to see the HDD (which contains a folder with my movie files) attached to my AEBS. I've tried almost everything I can think of. Most of the time it just sits there "Checking connection...". It sees the AEBS which is SMB. I've put in the Device (AEBS) password only, guest with no password only, any combination I could think of and nothing has worked. I would appreciate any ideas on how to get it to see the folder on my network drive. Thanks.

Check to ensure you have a username entered for your Airport (we recommend using 'admin'). Full details can be found here. https://support.firecore.com/hc/en-us/articles/215090977-Streaming-From-Other-Devices

Finally got it working. Not exactly sure how, but I think it was putting in the username/pswd and trying and retrying. First, finally connected with the HDD, then lost it. Then finally got it connected again and was able to get to the folders on the drive. I also suspect a Wake Upon LAN issue. I noticed that I would not hear my drive spin up while doing all this. Started a movie on my Mac (which I could hear spin up the drive), kept it playing, then did all of the userID/pswd, etc stuff. Hope it holds. Thanks for your help.

Great! Glad you're back on track. :)

These are typically called 'forced' subtitles, and are only displayed if the spoken language is different than the main audio track. Infuse has support for forced subtitles, but how these are handled will vary based on how they were originally added to the movie. For example, some movies have hardcoded subtitles, while others have separate subtitle tracks.

A good community maintained list of titles and their forced subtitle type can be found here.

@firecore, so I went back and re-ripped a few of the movies that i'd missed the "forced" subtitles on. I then checked using VLC that they appeared. But when I play the same movie in Infuse I still don't see the subtitles. I have the subtitle option set to off because setting it to on seemed to show subtitles ALL the time (for english spoken as well). So do I have something setup wrong?

Do the subtitles appear if you select the subtitle track through the playback menu (swipe down while a video is playing to access this menu).

Infuse will display forced subtitles by default even if the 'Show Subtitles' option is disabled - though this only works if the subtitle track itself includes the special 'forced' flag.

Well they appeared in VLC as I said. I didn't "hunt" for the track in that menu to try.

So how do I get the subtitles to appear they way they're supposed to ?
To have them enabled by default, you can enable the 'Show Subtitles' option in the Infuse > Settings menu.

To keep subtitles disabled by default, but enable them on a video by video basis you can leave 'Show Subtitles' disabled and then manually select the subtitle track through the Playback Menu.

I think you're misunderstanding my question. I don't want subtitles on all the time. I just want to see the "forced" subtitles e.g. The alien subtitles in Star Wars etc.

Soon. :)

Music playback is something we may look at for a future update, but we don't have an ETA on that right now.

Music playback would be great, however I mean TV Show theme music. So whenever your browsing through the episode list of a series, softly in the background the theme music is playing. Plex does this very well
