Hmm - the cached metadata on your device should most definitely remain after a restart (NAS or Apple TV).

The iCloud syncing option described above would allow for a single library to be available on multiple devices - IE, you make a manual correction one device, and it would appear on all other devices.
Does the cached data remain when the device is powered down rather than just restarted? Certainly when either my NAS or AppleTV are shut down and restarted, Infuse Pro insists on rescanning the share from scratch...

Infuse streams from Plex via DLNA, so if you are able to activate DLNA for that library it should work.

Infuse will detect any Plex servers it finds on your local network automatically.

Okay well with the Plex app you can share library's with people across the world. Would this work just like the Plex app?

How can i reproduce a BR RIP on a BDMV folder without having to find the exact file on the stream folder?

This really is a must! I find it *really* annoying that I have to go through and correct all the misidentification of movies on my server every time either my Apple TV or media server is powered down and restarted. Please just store this information on iCloud and reload it when needed!!!!!! Make me very happy - build this function into the next release pleeeeeeeease!

My NAS does same thing after it is powered down infuse does not save the meta data so I have to redo search to identify the correct cover art and movie name.

I paid for the pro version on the basis of the claim of silky-smooth 4k playback, but it's a totally misleading claim. And my NAS photos simply don't appear at all.

I've just (re)discovered that I can plug a external HD/USB stick in to my Airport Time Capsule and connect to Infuse to watch Movies and TV Shows stored on the plug in drive.

This app has made my year - thank you, I love you xx

Many more good things still to come. ;)

QQ - tried searching the thread but couldn't see an answer and there's a lot to read - so I have two favourites set up (movies and tv shows). In the movies file directory on my drive it goes (for example) Movies > Disney > list of Disney movies. However on the App all the movies are lumped together - any ideas?

Also, is it possible to put artwork on folders? I've seen the question asked here but no answer

Thanks

The folders will remain intact, so if you set 'Movies' as a Favorite, then you should see a Disney folder inside that contains all your Disney movies. The one exception to this is when a folder contains only a single video - Infuse will then flatten that folder so it appears as a playable item.

Full details on setting artwork for Favorites and folders can be found here.

excellent - thank you

I have the Pro version on my ATV and it is a great app. The meta data is very nice and I really like the interface. I ended up with this rather than Plex because I didn't want to have to run a separate pc. This app just plays my media library right off of my NAS and does it well. I highly recommend Infuse.

I'm pleased to report that switching from uPnP (MediaServer) connection to SMB seemed to solve the problem I was having with my favourites being rescanned whenever the NAS was powered down. Now I'm connecting to it via SMB, the library remains constant and I no longer have to go back and fix misidentifications every time it decides to rebuild the library.

Can I make one feature suggestion? I love the fact that you can now switch the 'Show Previously Watched' option on and off but can you make this work on a favourite by favourite basis? I'd rather like to be able to control the app so that it only shows titles in my 'Movies' favourite on the front page and not titles in other favourites. Thanks :)

Btw - I also noticed that the 'folder.jpg' trick for adding a custom thumbnail to the favourite doesn't work on uPnP connections. Once I switched to SMB, it started working :)

Thanks again for a simply superb app! Infuse Pro is so darned good that it's made my buy a second Apple TV 4 just to run it in another room :)

I'm also connecting via SMB but the folder.jpg thing isn't working for me for some reason :( works perfectly on my other folders, just not the favourites

Try this:

If favourite folder name is "Movies", add image "Movies.png" in the same sub folder which contains the "Movies" folder.

Sorry, this is incorrect. Will post correction
[doublepost=1457423268][/doublepost]Corrected:

Add image "favorite-atv.png" to the "Movies" folder.

Note: not favourite, but favorite
