No I checked that as well. Also tried putting the poster jpg in the season folder as well as the series level. Neither seemed to work. Tried closing the app as well.Hmm, we'll take a look.
Are single digit season numbers working?

Are you connecting via UPnP/DLNA by chance? Unfortunately image overriding won't be available with either of those. No I checked that as well. Also tried putting the poster jpg in the season folder as well as the series level. Neither seemed to work. Tried closing the app as well.
It's still on our radar. A lot people name their videos like The.Dark.Knight.2008.mkv so right now Infuse treats periods as spaces. We just need to come up with a good solution to handle the other cases.Any chance that this issue could be addressed:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/infuse-for-apple-tv-released.1942307/page-42#post-24155727
These items are still classified as "Other".
Well, that explains "U.N.C.L.E", but not "Hawaii Five-0" (which is frankly the bigger issue for me since I don't feel like manually editing dozens of episodes). I seems that it shouldn't be so difficult to resolve since Infuse apparently even matches the names to TheTVDB. Every time the release notes say something like "Improved filename matching algorithms" I'm hoping that issue is resolved ...It's still on our radar. A similar change is needed there as well. It should be working as expected, but please drop us a note if you run into any trouble. https://firecore.com/contactLet's hope the tv season overriding works now as it didn't in the previous release, even for single seasons.
Unfortunately the Apple TV doesn't support 24-bit audio bitstreaming at this time. However, Infuse is able to send audio as 24-bit LPCM. LPCM is an uncompressed/lossless format which results in no loss of quality. A bit more info on how this works can be found here. https://support.firecore.com/hc/en-us/articles/217735707I'm really interested in Infuse, but not until you support HD codec bitstreaming, e.g True HD and DTS Master Audio, is there any ETA on this or if it's even possible?
Infuse has been called 'the best media player for iPhone and iPad' by Cult of Mac (http://www.cultofmac.com/256655/inf...or-iphone-and-ipad-gets-redesigned-for-ios-7/), and now it's available on Apple TV!
I can't believe I had never heard of this app prior to coming across this thread. It's amazing! The automatic retrieval of movie info as well as cover art immediately supplanted VLC as my go to player. I also like that when I gave it a folder of tv episodes the app catalogs them all together and lists them as episodes in a single window. Brilliant.
If I upgrade to pro, all of my devices will know which movies and such I have checked as "watched"? What else stays in sync between devices?
Thank you guys so much for this app!

Hmm, sorry about that. We're looking into one other case of this, so if you have a chance to send in a report from your Apple TV it might help us track down what happened. https://support.firecore.com/hc/en-us/articles/215090927-Troubleshooting-and-Getting-SupportThis is the first time an Infuse update has caused problems for me. When I launched the app today after it had auto-updated to the new version, it had apparently lost most of my library (except for a handful of TV shows), and the library status was "Last Update: Never". It is now apparently scanning my whole library from scratch, which takes ages.![]()
Will do.Hmm, sorry about that. We're looking into one other case of this, so if you have a chance to send in a report from your Apple TV it might help us track down what happened. https://support.firecore.com/hc/en-us/articles/215090927-Troubleshooting-and-Getting-Support
I thought about that, but Infuse has never lost the library before and I haven't downloaded any new apps in months. Unless one of the installed apps for some reason suddenly consumed a lot more storage space, nothing has changed (except that Infuse was updated). One thing to keep in mind is Apple TV apps don't have any persistent storage, and any storage Infuse does use is treated more like a glorified cache. This means if you are running low on space and decide to download some new apps (or space is requested by another app) instead of getting an out of space message tvOS will just decide to give your Infuse data the heave-ho in order to free up space.
I did lose the "recently added" status though. That section now shows movies that I added a long time ago.Fortunately, with iCloud sync things will automatically refresh on their own without you having to set up your shares again.
Good points thanks.Will do.

Also, rebuilding the library from scratch and downloading metadata and covers took a looong time, which is annoying if you had just settled down to watch something. BTW, if possible it would be good if the app could prevent the ATV from going to sleep while it's building the library. I have mine set to sleep after 1 hour, and started the library rebuild before going to bed. This morning it was still not done because the 1 hour apparently wasn't enough and the ATV had gone to sleep before Infuse was finished.

Infuse 5.3, which was released in March, includes a revamped playback core with many big improvements. https://firecore.com/blog/18155Infuse 4 user here. Yesterday was the first time that i couldnt play a file. It was stuttering all the time. I will leave here the media info. VLC played it great.
