reason that stinks is you still cannot set another mail app as default
I've not used mail in a month. I "deleted" it and So far have fully transitioned to a 3rd party app.

Not having it as "default" hasn't changed my flow of creating and replying to emails at all.

I noticed this too and reported it on the last beta. I wonder what's causing it?

I usually see it when typing after I've not typed for a while, and usually within the first word of a sentence. It's incredibly obnoxious.

I gave feedback on that issue on every single beta I installed. Actually got a response back from an Apple human looking for more detail, so I assume it's being work on.

Unable to swipe down for Notification Center nor up for Control Center when in Mail app. Is anyone else experiencing this? It works fine in every other app.

So is that's better than essentially the horrible battery life your devices had with iOS 9?
Yes its better. With iOS 9,I charged my phone at least 3 times a day to the point I had a portable battery connected while I listened to music.I can get by with 2 on iOS 10.It was at its best on iOS 8 where it lasted 8 hrs on a single charge

Is it just me or is this a major bug.

If I download and read a message on my iPad the same message does NOT get downloaded on my iPhone.

Both devices are running iOS 10 GM. :(
iMessge, SMS, email, another type of message?

Sorry, email messages.
I guess I'm a little confused by what you mean by "downloaded"? Is the same not message not displaying in your inbox list on both devices? What happens if you open the mail apps on each device at the same time? Not the same?

It seems we can't no longer swipe down the "prediction bar" in QuickType ...
Am i the only one ?

I recall someone mentioning that's not there and you basically have to use the prediction setting to select what you want.

I just verified this. Correct. I'm actually happy they did this: I'd occasionally accidentally minimize it and it was a devil to get it back. Had to get your finger on it just so to "reinflate" it.

Anyone know what happened to App suggestions based on usage? (like music app when you connect to bluetooth)?

The only option I have now is Handoff and I don't think that's what I want.

In Message, the navigation bar with contact image and name underneath seems to be "frozen" . it shouldn't be reduced ? very boring on 4" screen

Yeah, options related to that seem to have been removed in iOS 10.

It would be nice if it was reduced or could be removed though some option, but that hasn't been the case so far.

Are these bugs known? Some actually features? iPhone 6.

  • Swipe left on a Mail notification in Notifications and tap View: rich notification view has bad formatting (BUG 1)
  • Now tap on the rich notification: I'd expect it to open Mail so I can read the full email but no such luck (BUG 2?)
  • Now tap the X on the rich notification: Nothing happens (BUG 3)
  • Tap on empty part of screen to dismiss: 1 second delay before going back to Notifications (BUG 4)
  • The email is still listed in Notifications (BUG 5?)
  • Swipe on the Mail notification again and tap Clear: notification does not clear (BUG 6)
  • Swipe on the Mail notification again and tap View then Mark as Read: nothing happens (BUG 7)
  • Tap on the Mail notification: nothing happens (BUG 8)
  • Tap the x button on Recents: Mail notification finally clears
