Are these bugs known? Some actually features? iPhone 6.

  • Swipe left on a Mail notification in Notifications and tap View: rich notification view has bad formatting (BUG 1)
  • Now tap on the rich notification: I'd expect it to open Mail so I can read the full email but no such luck (BUG 2?)
  • Now tap the X on the rich notification: Nothing happens (BUG 3)
  • Tap on empty part of screen to dismiss: 1 second delay before going back to Notifications (BUG 4)
  • The email is still listed in Notifications (BUG 5?)
  • Swipe on the Mail notification again and tap Clear: notification does not clear (BUG 6)
  • Swipe on the Mail notification again and tap View then Mark as Read: nothing happens (BUG 7)
  • Tap on the Mail notification: nothing happens (BUG 8)
  • Tap the x button on Recents: Mail notification finally clears
Hmmm...I am seeing the expected behavior on my 6. Formatting in the "rich" notification could be better rendered, for sure, but I end up where I should when I touch it.

Some messages show on one device but not the other. (Inbox doesn't show all messages on iphone device)
Sounds like maybe you are using POP3 email. So whichever device gets it 1st removes it from the server. so other devices never see it. IF thats the case you need to change to "leave a copy on the server". No idea where in iOS as not used POP email in ages but.......... Better solution is to change to IMAP or Exchange etc and forget about using POP. Especially if you use multiple devices for email.

I'm using exchange.

If you have the beta profile installed it should be there.

I have the beta profile and feedback is not there for me.

Have you tried uninstalling the Exchange profile in Mail, Contacts & Calendar and reinstalling it. Might just be a wonky connection with your home server. I have heard of this happening to people at my company. Usually, though, its the other way around: stuff read on the phone never gets marked read on the server or in Outlook.

That what I ended up doing and I'm getting all my mail now.

You sure you dont have the developer profile? Only the public beta profile installs the feedback app.

Anyone know if this still has the bug I've seen since 9.0 (on my iphone 6) wherein clicking a link in safari with "open in background" sometimes crashes (hangs) Safari? It works like this: sometimes it works right, and the little page icon flies to the lower right corner of the screen and you can then find that tab in the background. When it doesn't work, it flies UP and to the left instead and Safari hangs permanently. Requires killing in task switcher. Still happening on 9.3.5. I've been waiting forever for them to fix this.

I've heard about it, but can't say I've ever been able to recreate it even when I have the link "flying" up to the left instead of down to the right (not even quite sure what causes the difference).

App switcher is still lagging since very first beta on my iPad air2
Yep same here on my 6S and my iPad Pro. It's obviously a software issue and they seem to screw with the app switcher constantly. In 9.3 it was smooth and had consistent inertia when scrolling. Now it's choppy and jumps all over the place on the iPad and almost goes too fast at the slightest finger flick.......best app switcher was iOS 7-8. It was smooth, consistent. And didn't have different behavior with EVERY DAMN UPDATE

Anyone having any issues with calls coming through? I'm noticing that sometimes when someone calls me (and with some test calls to myself) I don't get calls coming in, not even a missed call notification. This kind of thing came up in a beta for iOS 8.0 or 7.0 before as I recall, but I can't say I've seen it mentioned in relation to iOS 10.0 betas, not to mention that this is the GM (basically the final build) that we are talking about.

I've already tried the typical troubleshooting like restarting the phone, resetting network settings, pulling and putting back the SIM card (haven't quite gone down to resetting all settings or reinstalling). This is using iPhone 6 on Verizon.

I've got the developer beta profile installed and the feedback app is no longer present since installing the GM.

iPhone 6s. iOS 10.0.1

I believe the feedback app is more specifically associated with the public beta profile.

Getting stutters here and there on iPhone 6

The iPhone 7 can't come soon enough

So a recalled Samsung Note 7 on the left and soon a iPhone 7 on the right? You'll never be happy my friend!

My iPhone 6+ rocks on iOS 10.0.1 GM. Fantastic performance and fantastic battery life. I couldn't be happier. But I have an iPhone 7+ on order. Someone in the family is going to be very happy with their hand me down iPhone 6+!

Developer profile never had the feedback app. ONLY the public beta profile installs that app. Nothing to do with beta or GM iOS version.

Battery life is absolutely wrecked in this build.5 hours and battery dead
No doubt your Android has fantastic battery life immediately after you upgraded its OS. Oh wait, can you even update the Android OS?

Please, allow your iPhone to stabilize after its newly applied update. You should know the drill by now. My iPhone 6+ is showing fantastic battery life after the initial 24 hours since installing iOS 10.0.1 GM.

Anyone know what happened to App suggestions based on usage? (like music app when you connect to bluetooth)?

The only option I have now is Handoff and I don't think that's what I want.

It looks like the option ha been removed from settings but the feature itself is still there. E.g. If I plug in some headphones it will suggest the Music App on the lock screen and in the app switcher.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but downloaded the GM yesterday and it looks like they haven't added back the ability to star rate songs. Am I just missing it? :(

Notes collaboration issue:
Working fine on my phone (done all the betas from the start), but on my partners 6 only now installed the GM, and she doesn't have the collaborate button present... (attached screenshot with head and + present on mine)
Any ideas why? Any setting I might need to change?
