iBooks is crashing after fifteen seconds on all of my iOS 10 devices. Tried uninstalling, reboot, turning off iCloud syncing and other network options. No joy.

Kind of a springboard crash to the home screen.

Are these bugs known? Some actually features? iPhone 6.

  • Swipe left on a Mail notification in Notifications and tap View: rich notification view has bad formatting (BUG 1)
  • Now tap on the rich notification: I'd expect it to open Mail so I can read the full email but no such luck (BUG 2?)
  • Now tap the X on the rich notification: Nothing happens (BUG 3)
  • Tap on empty part of screen to dismiss: 1 second delay before going back to Notifications (BUG 4)
  • The email is still listed in Notifications (BUG 5?)
  • Swipe on the Mail notification again and tap Clear: notification does not clear (BUG 6)
  • Swipe on the Mail notification again and tap View then Mark as Read: nothing happens (BUG 7)
  • Tap on the Mail notification: nothing happens (BUG 8)
  • Tap the x button on Recents: Mail notification finally clears
Just one solution , delete your mail accounts or mail stock app

Folks, I've been getting amazing battery performance on my iPhone 6s running iOS 10.0.1 GM. Did a forced restore to the new GM and then restored from my backup which was previously on iOS 9.3.3. Hope others been having similar results. No lag, no stutter. Pics for proof.

That is epic battery life. I'll give that a try on the SE tomorrow and report back.

Developer profile never had the feedback app. ONLY the public beta profile installs that app. Nothing to do with beta or GM iOS version.

Actually the Developer Profile DID have the feedback app for iOS 10.0 beta and was removed in GM.

Since I can remember this button doesn't work. I hope it's fixed in final release.

That button works and has been fixed for quite some time already (sometime around dev beta build 3 or 4)

I'm having problems with flagged mail in this version.
I did a reset from DFU and I didn't find the flagged mail I had in the old iOS 10 beta.
Still have the flagged mail in "Mail" from OS X 10.11.6
I tried to unflag and reflag but doesn't sync on iPhone.
Using gmail account

Is anyone else stuck on update requested 'Estimating time remaining' it's been like this since the release last night. iPad Pro 12.9, my 6S+ updated straight away with no issues?
[doublepost=1473505791][/doublepost]My iPad pro the same mate, downloaded the profile fine and it then went to update requested
and just sits there, all night so far.
I tried restoring from backup then running again, no go. Tried deleting the profile and re-boot and re-downloading profile same.
My phone updated fine, also download sierra fine. My GF iPad air2 and phone, no issues.
Hope its apple end that there is an issue.

Is the side-by-side compose feature in mail (12.9" iPad Pro) working for anyone in the GM? I can't seem to figure it out or missed that it had been removed at some point.

I never installed the public beta profile. When I installed the developer profile, the feedback app appeared.

I believe you're incorrect.
I stand corrected then. Never has it been there before as far as I know. And when I removed the public profile and installed dev profile to get the GM on event day, the feedback app was removed and not installed again when installed dev profile. Friday I removed dev profile and installed public profile again and feedback came back. So Lagwagon you are saying the feedback app was tied to the GM iOS somehow? Its typically tied to the profile and installed and removed with the profile not iOS.

I'm still experiencing the issue where, when you ar replying to a txt from the lock screen or the pull down notification using Siri, if you do not hit done and then hit send but hit send directly when done dictating; it doesn't not bring the keyboard back. Only if you pull the keyboard down to hide it and then click in the text space will it come back.

The battery life is very bad in iOS 10.0.1 GM version, did anybody else facing the same? iPhone 6s here

Same here. Yesterday only had about 3 hrs of on screen time. ~85% capacity as well.

I generally get at least 5 hrs of onscreen time.
[doublepost=1473523701][/doublepost]Anddd untappable notification bug is still present. Extremely annoying.

I've been getting a lot of crashes, resprings, reboots, and just overall slow responsiveness since the GM. I had to go back to 9.3.5. I don't know if it's just my phone (6 Plus) or if iOS 10 is that crippling to older iPhones. Previous public betas didn't seem to be as bad as GM.

iOS 10 is not that crippling to older phones. Running nicely on my 6. Have you tried a restore?

I updated from 9.3.5 to 10 GM on my 5S and everything is running smoothly. No crashes, slowness, or anything like that. :)

I noticed that disable raise to wake improves battery life. I have a feeling the phone wakes itself in your pocket when it's vertical.

Any tips for bad battery life with Raise to wake already off? Beta 6 was so stable and solid and each build progressively got worse.
