iOS 10.0.1 GM Bug Fixes And Changes

i just tested this out myself with a lesser known artist that is in fact on iTunes and Apple Music and their name was greyed out on my Music app for a particular album. Went to their artist page and added the album to my Library because iCloud Music Library wasn't recognizing that it was for some reason. The artist name turned red in my library for that album but when trying to click it, it still does not take me to their page.

Roughly around 700 albums on my iPhone and every single test I've done in the last hour or two works exactly to my findings.

The only greyed out artist "button" are on artists who aren't available on iTunes. And the only time a red artist "button" doesn't work is if the album you're viewing at the time isn't available on iTunes.

The rest of the time it takes me to the artist page.

Right, I'm sure those have been your findings when testing this out, but I've posted my findings in my previous response and believe that's potentially what's going on here. At least for myself, not sure if the same can be said for the others.

All I'm pointing out is that the other poster who said it flat out doesn't work and calling me wrong for saying it does work, is wrong. Because it obviously does work and there are just some parameters that have to be met.

Can someone confirm that the scrolling in games when you swipe with one finger is really sluggish. I can observe this behaviour in Clash of Clans, Dominations and Clash Royal. Especially in Clash of Clans it is really easy to spot.

You are in your village und you swipe to scroll. And when you finger is still on the screen, the framerate just drops to 30fps, but when you lift the finger, everything is supersmooth with game still scrolling from the inertia. I got the same problem in Domination and Clash Royal. Finger on screen everything is locked by 30fps, when I lift it everything is fine.

On the home screen everything is fine, no sluggish performance. And then I tried Reigns, and it also runs super smooth, so no 30fps lock, when I swipe the cards.

Can anyone confirm this?

EDIT: The only thing I can think that could potentially be causing this to happen is if the music was previously in iCloud due to having iTunes Match prior to the album being available on iTunes and then once iCloud Music Library and Apple Music were introduced it wasn't being matched/linked properly through Apple Music to the artist.

EDIT 2: Just confirmed by removing the said album and adding it back to my Library and the main album page on Music now shows the "Show More by" link at the bottom of the page which wasn't there previously and the red artist name/link for said album works. I was an iTunes Match subscriber before Apple Music so that's my reason for thinking this is what might be happening.

Now the question is if that behaviour is new to iOS10 or it was like that before...

Anyone having touchID issues with MS OneDrive app with iOS 10? Mine will open then immediately go back to the lock screen asking for code or touch ID over and over. If i cancel touchID and use the code it opens and works fine. I can reboot the device and it will work a few times then later same behavior reappears. Guessing its an app issue that hopefully will get an update soon but just curious if others have experienced this.

I submitted a bug to Apple but I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this bug. I am on 10.0.1 / 6S Plus.

When you have notification(s) in notification center and tap on the first (edit: the position of the notification doesn't matter) notification - it doesn't do anything, as if it didn't register a tap, I can only 3D Touch it to interact with it.

On a 6s Plus. I feel like it's still a tad laggy when I 3D Touch a message notification. I get a white message box and then it takes a second or two for the message to appear and for the keyboard to pop-up. Is Anyone else experiencing this?

Just had a strange issue. I was unable to get into my iPhone… TouchID failed.

I had just washed my hands, so I figured they were still a bit damp - no biggie… but the passcode also would not work. I tried it multiple times and nothing. I know the passcode was correct - I've not changed it in about 6 months. Next, I tried a hard reboot - still didn't work. Called Apple Support and all the guy could suggest was to try multiple hard reboots, one after the other. Fortunately, after the third reboot, the passcode let me in.

Very strange. Submitted a bug report - this COULD be huge.

On the positive side, I did learn on that call that Apple now has a team that supports devices running beta software. The rep said with the public beta program, they really didn’t see how they could not support it… good to know.

This is awesome for anyone that doesn't realize what they're getting themselves into running beta software and doesn't have a clue what to do when they want or need to downgrade.

Are you on the GM? If so that's what's being released tomorrow unless they updated it.
