Aha, I didn't catch that was now a secondary page rather than a toggle. Thanks.
It was always a secondary page, just an additional optional toggle has been added when reduce motion is enabled.

So I checked and compared the IPSWs of 14B72 beta 4 build and 14B72 final build released today and there is a difference of around 10 Mb in size. Final build is of higher size.

This clearly means if you are using 6S and below model and using developer beta 4, you will need to download the full IPSW or a delta update which is almost the size of full IPSW.

I did not install public beta 4 of 10.1 so cannot comment on it.

Its also weird that a final build has a small letter in it.
Apple just throwing more and more "patterns" into the wind. ;)
It's a variation because the iPhone 7 plus has the Portrait feature
But that letter is also there for the regular iPhone 7 build too it seems (plus it seems that the comment was more in the sense of letters typically not being present in final public build versions).

It's the same size difference between the beta 5 on iPhone 7/7 Plus and the final build.

You mean that feature that Apple never promised yet everyone on MacRumors assumed "must" be coming in iOS 10?
I think it's pretty far from everyone or even most. A good number of people hoped that would be the case, but not that many had some sort of expectations that were beyond hope.

Fair enough. Just getting a little tired of all the "where is dark mode" posts with every iOS update. It's getting to the level of what "Safari seems snappier" was a few years ago.

Agreed, there is a sense of that when it comes to this whole "dark mode" thing too.

Blah. Already having terrible Standby Drain again. No different than 10.1B3 on my device. Phone has been plugged for 28 minutes, has 20 minutes of usage. Thats after doing a hard reset and doing an iTunes install, not OTA.

Even my Air 2 has 6 minutes of usage of 28 minutes. That never happens. My Air 2 usually has 1 minute of usage per hour of standby.

  • Sign-based transit navigation including layouts of all underground structures and walkways that connect large transit stations
  • Transit fare comparison when viewing alternative transit routes
Are these Maps enhancements only for Japanese users or anyplace that fits the description, with underground walkways, etc...?

That's basically just after installing 10.1?

Yes, but I run the same exact standby testing procedure after every single update. 10.1B3 and now 10.1 have been the worst in years. For comparison. 10.0.2 had 15min usage/1hr standby right after install. 10.0.3 had 12min usage/1hr standby right after install. Everything else identical.

So 20min usage/28min standby is horrendous.

I'd probably still give it a day or two (and a charge cycle or two), perhaps even with a soft reset somewhere in there.

No update yet on my iPhone 7 running PB 5
You likely just have the same build already that has been released as the final version.
