If available, try one of the IPSWs for an earlier version of the beta.

If anyone gets this to work
I'm back to 10.0.3, but maybe Apple pulled beta 5 for a reason? so if you can't download it, just have patience. We'll either get a new beta next week or the final 10.1 release (I hope).

Did you try downgrading to an earlier version than 10.0.3 to install the developer beta? I'm curious because I've been attempting to do this myself

Battery life slightly improved on my GSM variant 7+ 128GB.

That's awesome. I'm not getting near that. Damn Facebook! Lol.

Luckily for me, I'm only addicted to Snapchat and Instagram :p

I've heard the Facebook app is such a battery killer though. I also text a ton and that absolutely kills my battery. Luckily, people left me alone for the most part so that probably helped with battery life.

I still want the ear shattering volume I had back on 10.0 on my 7+
Am I the only one that liked it?

Damn.. just what I was about to do.. they must have pulled the beta I'm guessing

*Update
Rolled back to 10.0.2, update didn't show. Updated back to 10.0.3 and found an IPSW file for developer beta 4. Install went well and now I'm currently updating to beta 5 :)

Still have this awful bug in NC where white lines / blocks appear, disappear and flash behind notifications- only seems to be an issue when text size on phone set to small which I prefer - tested on multiple plus devices and still there reported a while back too!

I get this too, easy to reproduce with small text set and with the app SofaScore, it sends many notifications so experience this a lot.

so after beta 4, beta 5 OTA shows up?

F Apple. This is ridiculous. I had to swap out my iPhone 7 and now it's impossible to get back to 10.1, which means I can't get my stuff back on this new phone. Have plans tonight and need to leave early tomorrow for camping. Don't have time for this mess. So annoying.

Find the .ipsw. Use iTunes. Problem solved.

Has the iOS 10.1 beta fixed the springboard crashes that are happening on 10.0.3 and 10.0.2?

Has anyone experienced an unresponsive screen? Screen will just not respond to any touches. I've noticed it on 10.1 betas 4 & 5 on my 256GB 7+. I can double-click the home button and the apps appear as if I can close them, but I can't because the screen won't respond. I can hold down the power button to where it asks me to swipe to shut down, but I can't swipe it. No apps will open. I have to hold down power & down volume to hard boot it. It's happened twice now. Not sure how to reproduce it.

Yes! This happened to me yesterday during a phone call. I'm running 10.0.3, not 10.1 beta though.

I've been using the 10.1 beta for a couple of days now and haven't had any resprings/crashes yet, last one I had was 3 days ago on 10.0.3 .. although to be fair I've only noticed 3 or 4 since I started using my iPhone 7 on sept 16th

Cheers

I'm pretty sure they pulled the update as it was soft bricking phones a couple days after the update. Mine soft bricked when i received a call. Phone locked up I went to hard reboot and it ended up stuck at the apple logo. I was forced to dfu with iTunes and restore.

Is there information about that? Seems like a thread such as this one would have that kind of information, and yet there's not much about it.

Yup. Happened a few times to me.

Apple is aware - marked my bug a duplicate of another.

Expecting fix in 10.2.

iOSBry.
