iOS 10.0.2 and 10.1 Beta 1 are horrible on the 7 Plus I feel so let down such a fast new phone and my old 6S Plus is miles faster the lag on the 7 Plus is insane bad and thats a restore not a update :(

I have used betas for years and years but everyone downgrade to 10.0.2 if you have iPhone 7 or plus, its horrible and unusable, even the final 10.0.2 is horrible for iPhone 7 animation my 6s was faster, so lets see if beta 2 is better or 10.0.3 will come out, so far my new iPhone 7 plus is running so slow its horrible

Without specifics, I don't see how this posts assists anyone. I have had 10.0.2, and now the latest 10.1 beta 1 on my 7+ and it has run absolutely fine. What is "slow?" Opening apps? Booting the phone? Please provide specifics. Maybe a fresh install is in need on your phone.

Hmm maybe Apple might surprise us today like they did last week.
Apple always surprise us!!! Maybe they will launch beta 2 in the middle of October . Or probably in the Halloween , Remember when they launched the first beta of iOS 10? How many weeks passed since the first beta??

yes I done a restore from scratch with both 10.0.2 and 10.1 beta 1 and yes the animation which a lot of people are saying when closing apps etc are lagging like crazyyyyy my 6S Plus is butter smooth so I'm confused why, but I've heard a lot of iPhone 7 Plus users are having animation stutter

Delay while opening multitasking.
Lags while scrolling in multitasking.
Reachability started annoying me. While pressing home 6S or 6 window slides down and you have to press on more time

It's been 3 weeks on past wednesday since the first beta. Has it been that long before they release another version?

Does this issue still exist on iOS 10.1? It annoys the hell out of me. Can't believe this issue actually exists as it looks so cheap / ugly.

(For those who don't notice anything, the text in the dismiss button suddenly gets a white background just before the animation starts.)

The beta was released on September 21, 10 days ago. 2 weeks (or this coming Wednesday +/-) is a reasonable expectation for the next release.

At first watch i thought it was a long press makes a super cool slow motion effect.

Any improvements over RAM management. On iOS 10.0.2 it is so aggressive, even my iPhone 6S, 7 doesnt keep as much apps as was with iOS 9.3.5

I just downloade iOS 10.1 PB 1 on my iPhone 7 Plus and the multitouch lag is definitely still there. I hope Apple refines Beta/PB 2 for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Our phones shouldn't be performing like this.

It doesn't have to be precise but based on something like usual time frame of x.1 release
The usual times have been changing in the past few iOS versions and things have been somewhat different with iOS 10 even from those, which makes it that much trickier even to go by some sort of usual times. There's a decent chance it might come out toward the end of the motnh, just as there is a similar chance that it will be sometime next month. Could potentially be longer too for all we know, but I guess it seems that chances of that are at least somewhat less.
