Seems like there is a lot of fix for 6s and 6s+ which is very welcoming. I've experienced horrible battery life, safari bugs and carrier connectivity issue since upgrading to iOS 10 on my 6s+.

I haven't noticed any of these really...well maybe battery life but I had my watch and headphones chewing up my battery more than usual last week.

Thanks for the good news though, I'm grabbing the update for my 6S now.

  • Sounds of all types are significantly low. (Ringtones/Video/Audio/Calls Cellular/VoIP are significantly low in volume).

How much lower are sounds? I know the OP says "significantly", but is it tolerable? I want to be able to hear my phone when it rings.

iPhone 7 Plus owners: would you recommend going to this beta right now or would you wait for beta 2 or final? Not just getting portrait mode but the stability and usability better or worse compared to 10.0.2.

I am currently performing a DFU restore on my iPhone 7 Plus to go back to iOS 10.0.2. I found that iOS 10.1 Beta/PB 1 didn't bring the performance enhancements I was hoping for. The portrait mode is great but still needs work. I suggest just riding the wave and wait for the final release. I am sure Apple wants to get it right so this beta might go into November but who knows...

To me, the audio sounded muted, almost muffled. I was able to get my alarm and ringtones without any issues. I found it tolerable but annoying.

Excellent response. Thank you for your feedback. I'll wait for beta 2 this week, possibly just ride it out until final release. Thanks again.

I'm super happy with 10.1b1 on my 7 plus. Great battery life. Portrait mode is super cool too

Anyone has trouble to update? The over the air update just gets stuck at 21 mins all the time. Restarted the phone, hard reset. Always the same result. Updating via iTunes didn't work as well.

I'm disappointed about actual speed and performance on iOS 10.1. There are still stutters in multitasking delay when you try open it or buggy notification centre

Anyone regrets updating to 10.1 on iPhone 7+ ?

Not much to regret you can easily go back to a final version of iOS 10 if you prefer

Now that I'm reading random reboots occur on 10.0.2 I'd say beta 1 has been pretty nice !

Im sick of waiting for Beta 2, 10.0.2 and 10.1 are horrible on 7 Plus I hope beta 2 fixes it but doubtful until 10.1 final comes out, why is a new phone so bad this is a joke, beta 2 won't be today I'm thinking wend or thur

I am having some issues restoring my iPhone 6S Plus 10.1b1 backup to my iPhone 7 Plus 10.1b1. It does not restore any settings. Just apps and so on. But app settings are gone.

Anyone else had issues with this?
