Gods, we can only hope not. Or if there is, that it's disable-able. Not like the Clock app, where you have it, and you're stuck with it.
That one app with that UI is so incongruous with the rest of the OS, I can't figure it out.

With reduced motion turned on, there is now a toggle for auto-play message effects.
Brilliant- looks like they're adding a separate control to allow you to disable the "Parallax Effect" and Folder animations on the Home screen but independently enable the new iMessage effects.

Yep, using the new Dark Mode feature on my iPhone as we speak. It's pretty sick.
