Bugs still occurring on iPad Pro 12.9"
-Slide over to messages leaves no text entry area and no keyboard at times
-In mail app in portrait orientation swiping from the left to bring open your current mailbox will get cut off at the same height as if you were in landscape orientation

The biggest issue is the no text entry area in a conversation unless I close and reopen messages

Beta 2 today?
Has there ever been a time when betas for two different iOS versions was running simultaneously? I don't think so, but I'm a little fuzzy on what was going on when the 10.1 beta was first released. The reason I'm asking is that I doubt we'll see a 10.3 beta until 10.2.1 runs the course. I don't expect that to be long given the relatively minor nature of the upgrade for 10.2.1, but I think it'll be until the first or second week in January, at a minimum.

Hi,
can anybody tell me whether the annoying Music-App-Bug on iPads is still present in this beta? The one where the Now Playing screen shows up in full screen and the animation when minimizing it is glitched?

I can't believe they haven't fixed that since the release of iOS 10.0. Or am I the only one experiencing this bug?

I had this bug all through the 10.2 betas and kept posting about it in each of the beta threads. Someone finally mentioned that most people aren't seeing that bug. I ended up doing a full restore once 10.2 public dropped and that took care of it (I was also having some very annoying iCloud syncing issues that I couldn't solve so the restore wasn't just for that). Everything is back to normal in the music app after the restore. I know it's an extreme and annoying solution, but nothing else I tried fixed that music app glitch. Good luck!

What's a full restore?

Still get stuttering when opening Mail and Safari. No idea why it stutters now and never did in 10.1. iPhone 7 Plus.

The bug I get on my Air 2, which I have reported, is when typing in landscape mode the Shift key randomly stops working and you need to rotate to portrait and back for it to "unlock" the shift key. It does it multiple times during the course of writing an article.
Thank you for the explanation. This is exactly what I experience and I have reported it as well.

Plugging your device into iTunes and hitting the restore button...

I chose to set my iPad up as a new device afterward since I didn't know if the bug that caused problems with the music app and iCloud syncing would be carried over in the backup.

That's what I wanted to know. There's "restore" and "set up as new". No such thing as a "full restore".

Technically there is no button that says "full restore". But there are varying degrees of restoring an iOS device, ranging from resetting network settings to a DFU restore. I was merely differentiating what I had done from something less extreme like resetting settings. Not sure if it was really necessary to have several nitpick-y posts like that over one word...

I wasn't nitpicking. I was confused because of your wording.
