What was this? Can you elaborate?

If you're in a conversation, start to swipe right to go back to the list of people, but don't swipe all the way past the middle of the screen. Let go and basically cancel the page transition and watch the keyboard be like "see ya!" and watch as it moves right for a second.

It's fixed in 10.2.

When you click "Edit" in Messages, the search bar is greyed out telling you you can't search. Also the "Cancel" is in bold. Are these two small changes new to 10.2 does anyone know? Also, on the 7 there are no initial placeholders in a conversation.

Bummer. New emojis only show up for people on iOS 10.2 beta. Those not on the beta just see a blank space (instead of emoji) :(

Anyone else amazing happy about the background colour fix!!! No more dim dull greyed out colours! Such a difference as soon as I updated to beta!

I might be the only one who liked that the background dimmed. With bright wallpapers, the icons get lost as there isn't enough contrast between the bright icons and the background.

Now I have to go back to manually dimming my photos so that the icons stand out from the background.

Star Ratings are back in Music Settings for those who care..

Great. This was a big removed/missing feature on iOS 10. Not sure why it has to be enabled via a setting though - why not just automatically have it in the auxiliary menu for any non-Apple Music song (i.e. purchased or synced from iTunes song) - whether you use it or not is up to you. Now, if only they could fix the following, and iOS 10's Music app would be ok again to use: Reduce text size in playlist/album views and Add like/dislike, shuffle, and repeat toggles back to the Now Playing screen (and Control Center).

Has anyone figured out if there's a way to do a "select all" here? That would be a very useful feature for cleaning out spammy mail from automated sources.

Not in the main inbox I don't think? If it's spam it should go straight to the Spam folder where you can "Select All".

EDIT: Or just unsubscribe?

This is cron mail, which I receive daily with a status report on the systems I manage.

I could write a rule to send it to another folder, but it wouldn't get seen then. I can't ignore this stuff. But it'd be nice to be able to mass delete it occasionally. :)

Ah okay, fair enough. The only thing I can suggest is to go through it all now, move or delete them and then keep on top of them. Check everyday.

Anyone have any issues with their Google accounts? I had one of them send me emails like it was a new install. 'If you have just signed in to your gmail acct xyz then ignore this...' Never seen that except with a full restore/install to new hardware, never from loading updates on the same phone.

And I'm sure it was to my phone, geographic area was correct, happened right when phone rebooted, etc.

This release is surprisingly stable for a 1st beta!

I'm loving that they fixed the safari keyboard.

Where's the dude that said it wasn't a bug?

There were multiple people that said it wasn't a bug since I been claiming it was since 10.0B6.
