Although the battery life is great on my i7, I found one kinky animation bug: when inside an app from the second page or above of the homescreen, when pressing the home button twice, first to exit the app and again to go back to the first page of the homescreen. That last action misses the animation.

Battery life seems decent on this build. Just watched a couple videos and played some games on my SE, got 6 hours screen-on, 6 hours standby (mostly music), all that and still I have around 40% left.

I just noticed you said SE... the wallpaper trick only works for the iPhone 7 Plus as far as I know. I think it has to do with the low power cores. For some reason certain wallpapers make the iPhone 7 Plus run better than others.

I've been using the same wallpaper since 12.1, no issues on my SE. I think it's a 7/7 Plus related issue.

I had done a backup on 24th Jan of 1.4 gb.
Today when I was trying to do the backup, i was able to do a desktop backup, but iTunes was showing that I have not done any backup on iCloud.

The total iCloud backup is now 1.6 gb. The suggestion of @gwang73 to keep the phone unlocked and on worked.
There must be some bugs within the latest version of iTunes as it doesn't detect phone configurations.

1.6GB backup here, iTunes probably isn't updated to support 10.3 fully yet, so it'll have issues. I have no issues with my iCloud backups, but as the release notes state, nightly backups don't seem to be happening at all for me. Manual backup works fine even if I lock my screen after pressing 'Back up now'.

I'm sure it's been discussed but am I the only one who is bothered with the black app opening (native Apple apps; when you first open it)? Maybe I just got used to it being white but it just looks so out of place.

Apps that don't have a splash screen have that issue too. I'm not too bothered though, since it is a beta and there should be bugs present.

Its always been like this, you have to wait for the animation to complete before you can do anything else on the home screen.

I've noticed that before 10.3, specially at 10.2 latest version, if you go to the list of opened apps, you can close the apps even before the animation completes. Now in 10.3 you have to wait to animation completes (the screen becomes like locked, i dont how to explain, it becomes irresponsive).

Can someone check the music app if they changed something? (Specifically the offline music tab)

is this not that big? I don't know how to add to wiki!

Dang, nice find. Tried and tested on 6S+.

Overall I will say this is best Beta 1 thus far. Everything fluid and responsive. Hopefully battery also an improvement over 10.2.

iCloud backups not automatically being made is a deal breaker for me. Thanks for pointing that out.

Not sure if coincidence, but I DFU'd back to 10.2.1 and when setting up the phone again it would get stuck at 'it may take a few minutes to activate your iPhone...' activation. I reset it multiple times but it would always stop there. Come to find out it was because of 2 factor authentication. I would always get the 6 digit code, but it still would stop there. It's never happened before, but after I disabled 2 factor it went through fine.

3488/5957 (new) v. 3490/5050 (old)

I suppose you could view that as a significant improvement in the Geekbench 3 Multi-core score.

I'm really disappointed about iOS 10.3 on iPhone 6. IT feels really slow especially today view. It reloads every time you swipe left. Animations dropping almost every time.
Thank you apple. iOS 10.2.1 probably lay iOS on my 6

Just was in Apple Music streaming rotated the phone and the music app crashed, went into activity app and boom another crash.

Of course rebooted phone and can't make it crash again. (I hate intermittent bugs!)

I believe this is also new: when you have the option "announce calls" enabled Siri now first say the first, then the last name.
Before it always said "Last name, first name" (although I let sort my contacts by first name).
Also it is way less "robotic" (at least in German) and the voice sounds very natural. :)
