Anyone notice after upgrading to 10.3 a large increase in "other" data? I went from under 2GB to 4.4 GB and the only thing I did is the upgrade? Does anyone know how to delete other data on the 6S?

I just finished a restore my iPhone and same result. Not impressed with 10.3.

Interesting most people are gaining extra space due to APFS. I would sync with iTunes as that removes logs and diagnostics and such. Should free some of the "other".

Can someone tell me what the hell is wrong with iMessages?!

Since my wife and I upgraded to official 10.3, messages are constantly late or they are being delivered as SMS messages.

TBH, we have this issue very long time. She's on iPhone 6s and I'm on iPhone 7.

Thanks a lot.

The problem I had back on Feb 10 happened again today under iOS 10.3. The problem is that all the sudden, unlocking the iPhone causes all email notifications in Notification Center to clear out. This happens every time I unlock the phone. I know from the past that making a backup, erasing my iPhone and restoring the backup will fix this, but I don't want to have to do that periodically.

Ended up having to restore from an older iCloud backup to fix this as it still happened after restoring from an iTunes and recent iCloud backup. Really annoying.

In order to fix the problem with my watch we had to reset all settings on the phone and since then my iCloud Keychain has stopped working and refuses to re-initialise properly which is very frustrating.

Exact same problem I'm having with "other" data. It's on my phone and ipod touch.

I also face the same problem.
Have you reported on bugportal.

Is there a way you can create a gif of what the phone does on startup? Something I'd like to show.

I don't know. I recorded it with Quick Time on my Mac. But I don't know if this is possible while your iPhone is on start up.

I am sill having the following problem in 10.3.1.
If all the notifications from the Notification Centre (NC) are cleared by clicking "cross" and then "Clear" button at the top right of the NC, then whenever the native mail app is opened it removes all the mail notifications from the NC, even if no mail itself is opened and no notification is touched.

Please correct me, but it sounds like you're saying that if you clear all of your notifications in NC, then all of the mail notifications are then removed from the NC. What am I missing?

Please know the clarification as below:
If we delete all notifications from the Notification Centre by clicking 'Clear' button at the top right of the Notification Centre multiple times, then it clears all existing notifications as expected.
However it also causes all the future notifications disappear from the Notification Centre just by opening and closing the Mail App, even if no mail inside the Mail App is opened and no notifications in the Notification Centre are touched.
The behaviour of future notifications disappearing upon just by opening/ closing the Mail App, is not expected and is erratic.

Ah, future mail notifications are cleared by opening mail. I see. Have you only noticed that on this build? Any other apps doing it? I know there was an issue in 10.3 betas where using "clear all" in NC would cause erratic future notifications. Sounds like Apple is still sorting all that out.

I have noticed this behaviour in Mail App.
I have noticed that this erratic behaviour is also happening in Whatsapp notifications.
All the WhatsApp notifications disappear from the Notification centre, the moment Whatsapp is opened even if it is immediately closed without touching/ opening any chat.
This occurred in all regular releases iOS 10.2.1, 10.3, 10.3.1.
This also occurred in all their betas.
[doublepost=1491326766][/doublepost]Do you have any updates from Apple in this regard.

I've had no response from Apple regarding this. My mail notifications have been all over the place in 10.3. Frustrating for sure.

Actually I had become hopeful based on your statement-"Sounds like Apple is still sorting all that out."

Sorry to get your hopes up. I was just saying that since it seems like they have been working on this issue for awhile as some functionality has gotten better for me, but clearly there are still issues with notifications.

Can you elaborate on what has improved.
And do you have any summary of the timeline since when it has been improved.
This is just for keeping my hopes up.

For me, the notifications for my primary email account (the one that I leave open in Mail.app) are coming in properly since about 10.3 beta 6. Before that, they would all flood in when I would send or receive a text message. Now that still happens with one of my email accounts but not my primary. My fetch settings are all what they should be but clearly not working properly with one of my accounts. As for hope, all I can say is that I have a renewed faith in Apple in these past couple of months.

I've run into a bug twice (fixed only by restoring an old backup) where all mail notifications are cleared when unlocking the phone. That bug pre-existed iOS 10.3, but wasn't fixed in it either.

Seems to be working as intended. It may be restrictions on how notifications work in iOS.

So I just tested again and now my mail notifications only would populate in Notification Center when I've opened the mail app. This is opposite of uandme72's behavior. Faith is diminishing.

They FINALLY put the mail app navigation arrows back to upward and downward facing! Facing left and right may no sense in the list you scroll vertically!
