There's an issue when swiping down from the lock screen...it used to be you could swipe left or right between notifications and widgets. Now, you can only see both if you're in an app. I preferred swiping down while in the lock screen and on the home screen. Typical Apple...one step forward, two steps back.

Edit: AND it doesn't remember the last thing you viewed (notifications or widgets) like it did in the last version.

I am super sure they tweaked the Music app icon and the Notes app padding for the list view. Also, gained around 2 gigs of storage!

The swipe is still there, I just did it.

All that seems to still work fine in 10.3 for me.

Still getting the random "Setting Time Zone" running bug, even when it is toggled off. Beta 1 to release, and reported multiple times.

Also, closing a resource heavy app results in the return to home screen animation becoming choppy - still happening.
Yeah, I noticed that too with Setting Time Zone even though it has been disabled for a long time.

No you cannot. And as far as I know, that has never been a feature of iOS. It's not even a feature of Android.

It was, but there wasn't a switch for it. Apple just displayed it that way. I supposed they received enough feedback to change it to sort notifications by day / recent instead.
Those options were there in iOS 9 and 8 if not even 7, as I recall.

Does anyone have a link to the release notes for iOS 10?

All I can find is the security document but not the actual release notes.

Updated & working fine in my 6s+, better to reset completely & clean install?
Please advise
no. if no problems no need to.

Can someone tell how 10.3 works on 6S? I'm on 10.2 right now, is it worth to update?
Working great! no problems here on 6s.

No issue here. Still can swipe left and right in both home and lock screens. Also remembers last position.

Lol it was a feature for a very long time. Basically since the iPhone came out. iOS 10 killed the feature. It's always been there iOS 9, 8, 7, etc.

I tried it a bunch of times this morning and it didn't work...seems to be ok now.

With final version of 10.3, I'm seeing slightly more battery usage on final vs beta 7, but still pretty good.

76%

3 hours 37 minutes
14 hours 40 minutes

Same usage every day. Occasional high quality graphic games (War Robots only). Mainly Tapatalk, messaging, calls, Facebook, Twitter, banking apps, occasional FaceTime use. Pretty much all light usage.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi always on.

Is someone experiencing some battery drain and overheating issues? I've done a df update from 9.3.5 and a backup restore and I'm pretty sure yesterday the battery life was a lot better.

Edit: on an iPhone 6

Well I certainly stand corrected. I pulled out my 4S with iOS 9.3.5 and sure enough, in the Notifications section there sits "Notifications View" with:

Sort Order (recent or manual)
Group by App switch.

Wonder why if it was there before, they pulled it? Can't say I ever recall using it though.

Hard to say why some fairly straightforward things that were already there and for at least a little while just kind of disappear and realistically without a good (if any) reason.

On an iPhone 6s. Better battery life than 10.2.1 and overall smooth performance. Looks like a much better release than expected

Just updated my iPad Air and iPhone 6. Very smooth, not as long as I expected. Freed up lot of space.
Free space:
iPad before 11.8 GB, after 17.9 GB.
iPhone before 8.3 GB, after 19.7 GB.

So guys, can you encourage me to update from 10.2 to 10.3 after all? I really don't want to risk any potential performance drop...
I am using 6S 64GB.

I am using 6S 64GB.

In addition to performance, there are plenty of security fixes including one for Safari plugging a javascript hole that allowed "people" to throw threatening popups on the screen.
