Sorry, I understand now. When you play something on your phone (and not through Sonos), CC is taken over by whatever you play. You need to stop playing on the phone, and reopen the Sonos app for it to be controlled from CC

And you can play both music and Sonos together - opening one doesn't affect the other. Does this help?

Yes it does, thanks a lot. I'm going to urge Spotify do something similar with their support for Chromecast Audio, now I know such a model is possible :)
 
OMG unicode 9 emojis are coming!! theres a bug in siri.. I said "Call hubby (emoji red heart) and she responded with "Calling Hubby Black heart"
 
Apologies if this has been asked, but has anyone tried the iMessage app with a third party keyboard? Will it still let you "emoji-fy" for e.g?
 
AirPlay in Controlpanel is split for video and audio. The first panel now only shows AirPlay screens, the Apple TV('s). The new music panel on the right, has audio options (including the Apple TV again).

Carplay still crashes though
 
Earlier today I created a reminder with Siri: "Call <contact name> at 3 o'clock"

When the reminder popped up on the lock screen, there was a slide-left option to 'Call Now'.

Is this new? I know reminders created when you dismiss a call on the call screen can do this, but not seen this specific set up work before.

Is the OP not updating the first post with stuff found? That's what used to happen, the OP would update with stuff from Each Beta and those changes, then picture and link to post.
Why is that not happening this time?

Can someone tell me what happens if you tap, long-press or 3D-Touch the 4K icon in the camera app? I was hoping it would get turned into a toggle for video quality. Thanks!
 
Not a huge fan of the new widget centre right now, though that mainly has to do with how it currently seems unoptimized for space and every widget seems to take the same amount of space. My month view calendar app now shows a week haha

Hopefully with the next developer beta this is addressed as well as can be

New "Emergency Bypass" option added to Contacts Ringtone & Text Tone to allow a contact to bypass Do Not Disturb. Previously the only option was to permit calls from your Favorites list.

It's the Apple Emoji keyboard that does the replacing.

No, according to Craig Federighi in this interview, when you first upgrade to iOS 10 your device will scan and analyze your photo library in the background while it's charging. Obviously, this is just a one time thing. For new pictures, it analyzes them instantly as you take them.
 
The change from iOS 9 to iOS 10 feels a lot like what it felt like to go from iOS 4 to iOS 5. idk why though... Maybe because of the redesigned notifications and lock screen. Oh and the additions to iMessage - if I recall correctly, iMessage was introduced with iOS 5. Really liking iOS 10.

is there finally a delete all for imessage media attachments?

it is literally the worst. my sister's iPhone ran out of space thanks to years of iMessages and let me tell you it takes a LONG time to delete image attachments one by one

I just stared at this screen shot for like a minute and I came to the conclusion that the uneven font sizes of lyrics and next really annoys me

Tap the "I" for Details. Long press on any of the attachments and select "more" you can then select which ones to save of delete.

ja i know but it takes a long time to delete like 400 images of one conversation alone. there needs to be a delete all like on Mac

As far as I know, none of them actually get saved to your device and take up storage. You have options to save or delete when you long press. So really what does it matter if there are 400 items you can reference or just one.

of course they get stored on the device, her iMessage took up 15 GB. it would actually crash if selected too many images to delete at once.
