I dont think it happens during typing well not yet anyway, its not doing it for me either I have to go on to the emoji keyboard

Beta 1 offered me, for instance, the cake emoji in the quick type completion thing as I typed. B2 doesn't do that.

For anyone having issues with the replacement after typing, you must have and switch to the standard emoji keyboard. I had deleted that because SwiftKey has its own emoji keyboard but toggling that will not show the orange replacements.

If you go Settings General keyboard, and have predictive, it'll show it there at least?

Has anybody noticed that the volume popup is hidden when you change the volume while watching a video? I;m not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but I love it!

Not sure if mentioned earlier, but I think quite a few people have been waiting for this feature, so I hope a bit of repetition doesn't hurt. :)

In the Beta 1 there was a new accessibility feature that allows you to dim the screen by adjusting the white point of the screen. In Beta 2 this setting can now be set to the triple press home button gesture. This is useful if you use your device in the dark, but the screen is too bright even if the brightness is set to lowest. Just triple press the home screen and the screen will dim to more comfortable level.

i lost the "ringer" temporary... I had to flick the slider on the side and re-enable the ringer again to get the sound back.. Also Touch ID even though enabled in Settings does not unlock my iPhone 6...

Instead i need to press the home button... (not hold).. I guess that's deliberate in beta ?

Sometimes i get to enter my passcode (not always), but when i do get the option, from there i can use TouchID as well..

Seems Apple's moved using this to the pass code screen... I gather they figure its still secure.. and probably makes sense since they also removed "swipe to unlock"

Apple changes *rolls eyes*

Has anyone noticed that when you set the phone to silent it doesn't vibrate to confirm, it uses haptic touch?

This is still as utterly wrong as it was when you posted it in the other thread. *rolls eyes*

No, he's absolutely correct AND so are you.

How do I know? Because I've had beta 2 do it both ways for me.

When I first OTA updated iOS 10 to beta 2 it wouldn't let me in until I pressed the home button. The rest finger to unlock setting switch didn't do anything for me. Then I had to get my screen fixed and when I did, in order to calibrate the screen, the apple techs had to roll it back to 9.3.2 (calibration software doesn't work on iOS 10 yet). When I upgraded back to iOS 10 beta 2 I no longer have to press the home button to unlock it to the home screen.

Obviously it's a bit buggy on which way Apple wants it. This is on a 6 Plus not 6S. I haven't turned on the rest finger to unlock setting.

Remember, iOS betas can behave differently on different devices and sometimes different installs. Just because you have a specific experience does not mean it matches everyone else's. It's all part of getting rid of the beta bugs. That's one important reason they have public betas.

I understand reading comprehension is hard but please do try.

I read it and I'm no more convinced than any of the other posters who stormed in squealing about a change that isnt, had to have pressing a button explained to them and then magically had it start working for them. My tolerance for it is through the floor.
