To the topic, SHOULD you use it as a daily driver? Prob not.

Is it capable in its current form? Fully IMO. Ive had VERY few problems with it. A slim few apps aren't working (see the the thread); I only have 1 not working app Bank of America and can just use the website for now honestly.

A few stutters etc but nothing earth shattering. Sometimes it will hang in the app switcher for a few seconds. But that's about the biggest bug I've found so far.

Again, COULD you use it DD? Probably, if you are aware of the limitations of Beta 1.

iOS 10 Beta 1 runs really great so far and I really love the multi language keyboard!
Unfortunately my pushTAN app won't work.
So I'll be reverting back to iOS 9.3.2.
Everything runs smooth so far on 10..... Seems like apple did its homework this time around.
Only bug I noticed so far: quick reply is unusable because the screen turns off after 10 seconds so you can't really write a message.

On my 6s plus, was getting a lot of resprings and lots of lag (not surprisingly given the beta status obviously) but I did a reset settings yesterday and it IMMEDIATELY got smoother (not ios 9-level, but much smoother), so I'd suggest that for anyone. Definitely stable enough for a daily driver IF you get the risks and are savvy enough

I took the plunge and downloaded the beta version on my 6s yesterday. It does take a bit getting used to but I have to say so far it is working as my daily driver. No random reboots yet. Like the new widgets. Have not used too many third party apps yet. Facebook kept crashing yesterday, but that issues seems to have resolved itself. Twitter and Tweetbot work fine. I suspect I won't get to use too much of the new iMessage toys anytime soon since no one in my io-sphere who uses an iPhone will have IOS 10 anytime soon. Not too sure if my batter life is affected, as I tend to keep it plugged in whenever I am home.

Don't kid yourself, this is a first beta and it is not stable. Maybe in bits and pieces it is. I love the new iMessage and Notifications but after 2 days I'm missing 9.3.2 incredibly. If I didn't install the Watch beta like a dumbass I would have downgraded already.

I love this iOS beta, but there are some things that are starting to drive me nuts!

1) my phone seems to be quite warm all of the time. It gets hot during use like web browsing.

2) As expected, the battery life isn't great, so I am constantly having to find a charger.

3) I can't seem to pair my watch to the phone anymore. I have to manually pair it, and when you verify the PIN, the watch app crashes.

I love the redesign, but having a £400 watch I can't use, and a £600 iPhone warming my thigh, I may have to revert back to iOS 9.3.2 and revisit this on the next beta release.

As to the phone being warm, have you tried the "Rest Network Settings" option? In past betas, doing that after installing, usually helped to cool the phone down for a lot of people.

hows ios 10 running for you? i ran ios 9 beta 1 and it was awful from the start. ios 10 beta 1 more stable ?
Thus far, I have found iOS 10 to be more stable and enjoyable to use than the first iOS 9 beta. Most of my apps work, the phone isn't staying warm, haven't noticed any re-springs and haven't had any random reboots. Your experience may be different depending on your needs and apps etc. I would make sure to backup your phone first, if the information on it is important to you and not easy to put back.

For a beta, this isn't half bad. There are a couple of little problems like the battery doesn't last as long, and the phone runs a little hotter. So far, all of the apps I use on a daily basis work, and I haven't had any freezes or resprings yet.

when i do it..say i want to put 9.3 back on..its as simply as putting my phone in recovery mode and restoring it through itunes right?

I have installed betas in the past on my main device so I was a little hesitant. But I have to say so far this is the best first beta that I had ever used.

All the apps I use work (banking, twitter, whatsapp, Nike running, etc).

Except for little quirkiness here and there I am yet to run into any major issues. Battery isn't bad either (running on 6+).

No regrets taking the plunge into this one.

As long as you haven't upgraded to MacOS Sierra it should be that simple. If you have upgraded to Sierra, you need to download the latest version of Xcode 8.

iOS 10 has been very stable for me so far. The only thing I have noticed after the first day, is that my Wifi speeds seem to have slowed to a crawl. It is like that for both my phone and iPad. I reset my wifi router, but that does not seem to help.

Couldn't take it anymore and downgraded back to iOS 9.3.2. That alarm clock bug on iOS 10 was driving me insane. I use alarms a lot.

gotta say it feels so good going back to a blazing fast phone on iOS 9 although i miss the 3D touch replies on the lock screen for messages. Hopefully beta 2 will be better.
