Hello,

Well, I've just done a full day's work on an iPad Air 2 running iOS 10 Beta 1, and haven't encountered any problems. Sure, sometimes it's a bit juddery or slower than usual, but performance is perfectly acceptable, and battery life is identical to what I was getting on the 9.3.3 beta.

The apps I've been using are:

-Safari
-Mail
-Skype for Business
-vSSH (SSH client)
-RD Client (RDP client)
-iOS's built-in IPSec VPN

and all of the above worked perfectly with no crashes or problems. So for me at least, it's just fine as a daily driver, and I've no plans to downgrade.

Absolutely not, imo. Lots of app crashes, problems updating apps, general bugginess and extremely poor battery life. I would hold off until at least the public beta before even considering it as a daily driver.

I will say the battery is pretty terrible - but I don't really use my phone a lot during the day only at night when I have a charger around. Minus some small studders and the quick reply text getting cut off everything is really great so far.

Battery life is poor but other than that it's working pretty well. I can always charge at work so it's not a big deal for me atm. :)

How's the battery life on this beta everyone? I'm aware that the beta theoretically runs perfectly smooth on the iPhone 6S (my phone), but how is the battery life on it, especially on the 6S? I so tempted to download the beta.

The battery life on my 6+ is about the same what I had on 9.3.2.

No regrets installing this beta as my daily driver. Although I do not normally install a ton of apps.

Check out this battery life test :

It should be similar to what you have now on iOS 9.

As soon as I start to hear battery life is taking a hit I lose all interest. The battery life on my 6S already isn't amazing, but that's the iPhone for you. Everything else about it I love.

ran into the "can't see what I'm typing" issue yesterday. That is the only thing I have found that is really frustrating so far in iOS 10
Only other thing I've found is Apple Music and Spotify skip and cut in and out (more of like a cd skipping) with Bluetooth in my car. IOS 9 works great, Bluetooth headphones (both Bose) worn great and the car with the trouble is a 2014 Audi Q5

Been using it on my backup iPhone 5 since Monday. Battery life is good. Till now only Facebook crashes.
The following work fine - BoA, Fidelity, WhatsApp, Twitter, Amazon, Yelp, StockTwits, Youtube, Uber and Google Voice

BoA working? I get immediate crash as soon as I attempt to open the app.

there are already many threads stating it is running. I keep receiving an error trying to install it though.
I had the same issue at first, but I installed the profile from the downloads page on my device and downloaded iOS 10 OTA with no issues :)

Posted about it in another thread but it's relevant here. There's at least two confirmed cases of earphones not working after upgrade on iPad Pro 9.7". May not be universal but worth thinking about if you have that model and need to use them

I use it as a daily driver and I am pretty happy with it.
Battery life could be better, but it's not that bad. Slightly worse than with iOS9
I didn't have a crash so far, only problem was with "Good for enterprise" app, but with re-installing it everything works fine.
Some delays from time to time, but nothing too serious.

Two strange things that I can't figure out (but I haven't read the bugs-thread yet):

- Sometimes it allows me to unlock the iPhone with just holding the finger on TouchID, not pressing the button (normally it says you have to press the button)

- Sometimes the widgets (especially calendar and map destinations) are showing "show more" or "show less" to display more or less content, but that's not always the case, only from time to time. I haven't figured out why.

It's ok. Obviously it's a beta so there are glitches and stuff all over. Unlocking it can be cumbersome sometimes. Mine has crashed a few times. I wouldn't rely on it if this was a work phone though, far too glitchy.

Same. My PC is bye bye from all sort of beta software. I use iPhone and Mac to test. I also have another android device as backup.

Wait this is a beta?!

JK

I've had great luck with it, no crashes, bugs, anything. It runs well, and pretty much everything works. I haven't seen a single thing that didn't work properly or at all. The only thing that is noticeable is that random things like to hang up for a second, but iOS seems to handle it quickly without a crash. I will never see iOS 9 again on any of my devices. I hated it and now 10 really has no reason to leave it. This is the second best version of iOS in my opinion. iOS 6 is the best, 10 is second. I really can't get over 6.

I don't know what it is, but everyone is having different results with it, which is very very strange.
