I had it on my iPhone 6S for a day and had to downgrade back to 9.3.2. I do a lot of stock trading from my phone and view charts on safari but Safari has so many bugs that I couldn't deal with. Also iOS 10 kept having random resprings and bad battery life.

Your line of work requires a solid phone and solid OS bug free 24/7. I know from experience. Dealing with money and and any other financial transactions needs to be smooth and fast.
[doublepost=1466121208][/doublepost]I've had iOS 10 as my daily driver since day 1 and the only issues I've ran across are slight lag in 3D touch multitasking and the alarms. The alarm works, but when you hit snooze the notification doesn't go away. I have to always restart my iPhone every morning. but overall a great 1st beta.

I am using iOS 10 on my main phone (6 plus). Its definitely buggy like a beta 1. The animations are actually faster than iOS 9 and look better . Most apps were slow to load and some didn't work. Swiftkey doesn't work well so had to get rid of it and use the stock keyboard. Evernote was slow. iBooks crashed frequently . contacts is slow . The majority of apps work well and I think the phone can definitely be used. Things have gotten a little better over the last couple of days

Can you elaborate a little bit on the "Things have gotten a little better over the last couple of days"? Do you mean that you've gotten used to iOS 10 performance or that it's simply just gotten more stable?

I think they should build in when lift to wake activates, touch id also activates for a matter of 30 seconds, that would eliminate the need to press the button and wear my phone out quicker...........or that could be apples plan to battle slowing sales :p
lol, but if the leak is true then it has a sensitive home button so that might be their fix, no more presses for the home button.

I'm currently running iOS 10 beta on my iPhone 6s, which is also my daily driver. And, despite having a few issues, I think it runs pretty darn fine. Especially compared to iOS 9.0 beta 1 a year ago. That was just a disaster, even had to go back to a stable version. But iOS 10 is definitely a step forward.

The fact that raise to wake says what it says proves the leak. An all touch home button combining touch ID and 3D touch would fit perfectly. When use the raise to wake, then use touch id and press I'm in the home screen just as fast as before iOS 10.

I have a 6S and have been shocked at how smooth this beta has been. I maybe had one or two crashes with Facebook a day or so ago, and messages was stuttering the second day, but other than that I have had a hard time realizing that I'm using a beta. Very much feels like a August release beta at the moment. The battery does drain faster - though not significantly so imo, but I have a battery case so its not an issue.

I also stupidly took the plunge on upgrading my Watch to the beta and absolutely love it. The battery drains a little faster, but it feels like the first NON beta version of the software on it. I only say stupidly because now I don't think I can downgrade the phone if I wanted to and still have the watch work right. Could be wrong

Took the plunge on my iPhone 6 yesterday. Have to say I'm both delighted and disappointed. Delighted with the redesigned lock screen and today view, music app and animations when opening and closing apps. Disappointed with the lack of dark mode, general lag throughout the system(but it's a beta obviously) and some general bugs, including this one—I am unable to see what I am typing right now as I have been brought to the bottom of the forums page! But overall, I am not regretting taking the plunge this early. I will be sticking with iOS 10 unless something drastic regarding app compatibility or battery life happens.

So far, so good. Probably the most stable b1 i've tested to date. (Stretching back to iOS6). Battery life has reduced slightly, but there's no major drain. Now, to WatchOS 3..

It's a personal phone not a work one, so I took the risk and upgraded my 6S yesterday. Works a treat. Not sure why, but even Facebook works for me without crashing. In fact, apart from maps.me every app I have works, including the Microsoft Word Flow keyboard, which I was sure was going to be a casualty. Heck, even Safari is holding up. Performance is good as is battery life.

I'm getting some issues with notifications not clearing properly (but I'm finding the whole 3D touch, click, swipe, dismiss options confusing, so there'a learning curve for me there) and my IMAP mails aren't fetching to the set 15 minute schedule (and before I'm sure they were using IDLE as I was getting pretty near instant notifications of new mails) but nothing that's causing me big issues. iMessage, FaceTime and the phone are all working and ringing and connecting as expected.

My main problem though is that after only 24 hours, I start to use my iPad mini (no iOS10 support - boo) and it looks so old fashioned already, especially when pulling down the today widgets.

I am not sure if he means it in the same way I do but the first day was great, second day I had all sorts of resprings on the watch and phone. Today both have operated flawlessly.

iOS 10 is just as just as fast as 9. You click the home button and you are in, same as before.

I don't see how that follows. If anything it's less likely in its present form because the home button on Touch ID devices has to do double duty. If you lay your finger on it after being in the notifications screen it unlocks (so you can reply in line for example) but doesn't go to the homescreen. Only after pressing the button does the home screen appear. Maybe that could be done with 3D Touch but in any case the feature in no way "prove anything.

It is ok for a daily driver, just don't set an alarm and rely on it for waking up on time. LOL I set my alarm last night, snoozed once this morning. Apparently snoozing froze the alarm app and it never went off again.

I've been using iOS 10 on both my iPhone 6 and iPad mini 2 since Monday and it hasn't been all that bad so far. Battery life is a little worse on the iPhone than on iOS 9 but for a first beta, I'm not complaining.

If I'm being honest, I often forget I'm running a beta, seriously. It's that good. I've had a few app crashes and no springboard crashes. Navigating through the phone feels very fast and it can only get better. This feels like a third or fourth beta in my opinion. 6s.

I'm going back to 9.3.2. There are just too many bugs that seem to be annoying me. Heres a few.

1. Reading an email doesn't mark it as read in mac mail.
2. Email conversations are jumbled in the wrong order.
3. Plugged my iPhone into my rMBP and it got stuck doing a continuous vibrate.
4. Adding a reminder to the app on the phone didn't sync to my rMBP.
5. News only loads 4 articles before it gets stuck on the loading.

can't speak to 2-5 but for 1 there is an option to change the order it is viewed so that the newest is viewed first. for some reason they made it the opposite by default....why would you want to read the oldest email first is beyond me.

For 1, this problem exists in iOS 9 for quite a long time. I assume this is due to mail server sync issue, as PC outlook 2016 also cannot sync read status in time as well.
Cannot comment 2 to 4.
For 5, it seems that this beta only allow news to load 4 articles. But news loading in news app works fine for me.
