I also noticed a bug with the folders... when you swipe between different pages of a folder the text comes out of the folder

Can anyone tell me how quick reply for existing apps such as whatsapp works now? Is it possible at all? Particularly for non 3dtouch devices, thanks!

When toggling the mute switch, instead of the usual single short buzz, it is now 2 tiny buzzes

Hows the performance? can i put this on my main device?
These are questions you never ask on a first beta. Let me answer this for you and all others who happen to see this.
Performance will not be remotely optimal. Many apps will stop working. Your device will reboot randomly. Expect a bevy of bugs. Do NOT expect your third party apps to function.
And if all this is fine by you- by all means, download it.
Don't come here complaining that a first beta made your device slow and I hate you Apple!

To be honest, most reputable apps will function as usual, unless there are drastic changes to APIs prior. The ones that do not function correctly, need to up their game to stay competitive. That's all.

there are so many functions like replying to a text on the lock screen or a quick reply on a notification that can now only be done with 3D Touch...can you still somehow carry them out on devices without 3D Touch?

I believe that could be implemented by longer presses on devices that do not support 3D Touch.

Yes you can still swipe right to open the app. Not sure about the quick reply if swiping left gives you the option to reply as I have previews turned off.

I turned off Reduce Motion and woowww, Apple speed up the animation. Doesn't feel slow as I recall from iOS 9.

I'm on 6S+.
I know right? They are a bit rough around the edges especially on my Pro 12.9 but it definitely has given a taste of the things to come which are great! Good job Apple! Take a pat on the back!

I'm running 10.0 on both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 and I'm very impressed by the smoothness for a first build. I also really like the new app opening animations. It's a subtle change but a welcome one.

Spotlight limitations don't seem to work. Disabled everything except contacts but it seems to search anywhere regardless.
