That seems odd. Anytime the app is listed over 100MB in the updates tab I always get the pop-up. Then about 75% of the time, the app will download and update. Big games like Real Racing typically have updates that are over 100MB, which will leave a spinning wheel in the updates tab until I cancel or connect to WiFi.
Yeah, it was a mixed expeience. I remember noticing it recently as I was updating some apps like Facebook, LinkedIn, and OneDrive, along with some larger ones like some games.

Over the last two days, I've had 3 instances where my phone has shut down (with about 40% battery remaining) and when I try to turn it back on, I get the screen saying I need to plug in my phone as the battery is dead.

I was a few minutes, try to turn it on again, and it turns on showing 40% battery remaining still.

Anyone else?

I had this with the lastest iOS9 releases. It's not an iOS10 bug IMHO

Nope! Can't tap or swipe or anything

Nope. Says updated and goes thru the motions but when I go back into the App Store, I have to redownload
hey I saw in your siganture you still using Watch OS 2? How did you pair it with your iOS 10 iPhone? My iPhone's Watch App wants to unpair and reset my Apple Watch with OS 2 :-( What will happen then? Will the watch connect again to a iPhone iOS 10 iPhone?

I am literally experiencing the exact same things... all 5. Reported to Apple!! :)
[doublepost=1466043809][/doublepost]

Emojis are now large when they are in their own bubbles (i.e. when ONLY emojis are sent). They are small (regular-sized) when accompanied with words in the same bubble.

Yeah, in my original post I mentioned that the small ones were not accompanied by text. In the meantime, I've realised that it seems to be only three at a time that are large, a fourth makes them small again

I just noticed that in Messages it seems like now, in order to send a message you have to hit the blue arrow in the text field. The blue "Send" button has been replaced by return and that goes to a new line like you'd expect. Just curious, is this the same for everyone else? Hadn't seen it discussed in this thread. Not sure how much I like it. The send button was so easy to hit. On the other hand, the arrow button isn't really hard to hit, it'll just take some getting used to. Also, might help prevent accidentally sending messages mid-sentence. Definitely done that a lot in the past.

There was never a blue send button where return is now, "send" was next to the actual message wasn't it? I agree that the little arrow is little harder to press
[doublepost=1466065974][/doublepost]sorry if this has been mentioned before, but when I'm replying to a message on the lock screen the phone goes to sleep if I dare spend more than four seconds typing!

Has anyone been able to find how to make the iCloud Drive app to show up on the home screen? i am sure it was on the iCloud section on settings, but I have been not able to find it anywhere on this beta.

One note on the new music app:
Previously, you could edit a playlist and add songs to it from the playlist page itself. Now, I have to go to individual songs and add them to playlist. There is no way to add multiple songs to a playlist at once.
Really hope Apple will bring this back.

Think this is a bug. Read the release notes and find the Music section.

I noticed this and also, I can no longer remove a song from a playlist unless I have accessed the playlist from the Library section. Rather annoying but hoping it's just a bug for now.

I have just been playing with the playlists again, and it's just buggy in general. If you edit a playlist and try and remove songs, it can take several taps on the delete button to get it to acknowledge you want to delete it. When you are finished and click Done, it freezes for some time. I have also had an issue where I have deleted several songs, only for them to come back as duplicates!

Forgive me if this has been discussed, I haven't had a chance to go through every page yet. When I receive a message and I raise to to the notification on lock screen, when I attempt to reply, the window comes up with a keyboard but I can't see any text that I am typing. Is it just me or is this a known (and already covered) issue?

Thanks

Here
There seems to be a bug in the voice settings for Siri. You can do what appears to change the voice but has no effect.

I had this, then sat at that selection screen for a moment and it started downloading the new voice. Let it download and then it worked fine.

In case you couldn't find it:

When editing a playlist, there is not yet a way to choose new songs to add. To add a song, find the song in Apple Music by using long press or 3D touch, or use the More Options menu and tap “Add to Playlist.”

Oh wow, you're definitely right. I just looked back at a screenshot of iOS 9 and I'm not sure why I thought the bottom right was a send button. Guess I was just remembering the send button in the text field but in the wrong place. My bad. Just goes to show how much those small visual changes can throw you off, I guess.

It's great! the only downside is poor battery life...
Have to say I haven't noticed any hit on battery life, I've only had it for just over a day but not noticing it falling quicker. I have been playing around loads more which is the only reason I'm using the battery up more!

Also on iOS10 iPhone 6 fails to connect to iTunes store keeps seeing errors "Unable to connect to iTunes Store." I am able to connect from all other devices which is not on iOS10 Beta 1

Did anyone found a way to get rid of the "downdates" for TestFlight betas showing as updates in the App Store and cause just spinning circles if you click on them?

Strangely there are even four apps I never purchased/downloaded through the App Store and two are not shown as updates in the App Store. All apps listed in TestFlight are installed, except the last one because it's iPad only.

I can't delete those apps because sometimes they become unavailable after that in TestFlight until the next update or even forever. And some get unavailable by itself even if they are installed, also until the next update shows up in TestFlight or forever.

Very confusing...

Does anyone else think the phone is missing notifications?

I have notifications on for everything, just FYI.

On my watch I'll get 3 email and 2 twitter notifications. Then when I pick up the phone, only 1 email and 1 twitter notification are showing on the lock screen.

I've also had it where I looked at my lock screen and had no notifications, only to unlock my phone and see that I had a message come in 5 minutes earlier with no mention of that on the lock screen.
