Just found a new feature (sorry if it's been said before)

Type something like Silly or Happy or Heart then click on the emoji shortcut, the words will highlight and if you press it, it will show the correct emojis

What's the emoji shortcut? I have the emoji keyboard enabled - switching to it doesn't do anything to the text entered.

Not sure if others have this bug. When twitter posts a notification and I activate the notification the twitter app will not open the tweet. It will open to the last tweet I was reading.

Of course it could just be that the twitter app hasn't isn't optimised for iOS 10 yet.

I just noticed that in Messages it seems like now, in order to send a message you have to hit the blue arrow in the text field. The blue "Send" button has been replaced by return and that goes to a new line like you'd expect. Just curious, is this the same for everyone else? Hadn't seen it discussed in this thread. Not sure how much I like it. The send button was so easy to hit. On the other hand, the arrow button isn't really hard to hit, it'll just take some getting used to. Also, might help prevent accidentally sending messages mid-sentence. Definitely done that a lot in the past.

EDIT: I was somehow remembering this wrong. The send button was always in the text field, it's just the smaller sized arrow button now. Sorry for any confusion.

It took mine a little bit to show up but then it did eventually appear.
Can you send a link to the batteries app in the app store? I've been trying to find it forver and really need it to check both the batteries of my iphone and watch! Thank you! :D

Noticed that my phone getting quite warm the first 1 or 2 hours upon installing the Beta 1 and last night I might found out the reason why.

The new Photo.app.

Oh my.... it literally scan and tag all the photos synced to the phone. I spend a good half hour searching various keyword and work quite well. Face recognition work pretty well too.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but the size of text and UI elements is absolutely ridiculous. Does anybody remember that phone for seniors called the Jitterbug with huge number and send buttons? iOS 10 is the software equivalent of that phone...I can't stand it!

It's a built-in iOS widget.

It's more likely a beta thing than anything else.

Have anyone tried the "multi language keyboard"? I'd like to know how it works and how many languages can be active at once.

I keep swiftkey just for this feature.

I did. I used to keep swiftkey as well just for that feature, and so far, I only have two languages set and it works so well! But i can imagine you could have more, I added a french keyboard and under the setting for keyboards it includes spanish, english and french for languages for it to shift through

Mine does that as well, I'll have to quit the app or switch between looking at stories or where all the snaps are to the camera to get the shutter button to work
[doublepost=1466042743][/doublepost]Is anyone else having this problem with the music app? When in the lock screen the top status bar doesn't show but if you hit the three buttons on the side that's the only time it'll show?

I have been experiencing many bugs. When I updated, my update screen was black with white apple logo for most of the time, until it said swipe to upgrade, and when I did, the background changed to white with a black apple logo. I have never seen that before on my phone, since my phone is black.

1. My push notifications don't go away. Once the notification comes down, it will stay there forever unless I reply in it, or swipe it up out of the way.
2. When I interact with a notification on the lock screen, my screen will lock before I am done. It's almost like it doesn't think I am touching the screen, and locks automatically
3. Apps are automatically updating over cellular even though I have the options turned off.
4. The option to go back to an app I just left doesn't always show up.
Also, sometimes when I try to reply to a message using quick reply, my phone will crash, but it will show the spinning circle that usually comes up when your phone is shutting off on low battery.
5. If I get a message, I get a vibration. But I also get a vibration for that message when I tap on reply to quick reply to it. I know this is the case because this occurs with custom vibrations, and also the default ones.

I am literally experiencing the exact same things... all 5. Reported to Apple!! :)

Perhaps, but I'd still like to understand the behaviour - when should they be large or small

Emojis are now large when they are in their own bubbles (i.e. when ONLY emojis are sent). They are small (regular-sized) when accompanied with words in the same bubble.

Not sure if this has been mentioned. But on the 6S, if you force touch the Phone app, all the favorites contacts are listed with 'main'. Even if they were mobile or home numbers.

It's not an app. It's built in and only shows when your watch is connected / paired to your phone.

For number 1, I'm not sure what app you're referring to, but the new "Alert" style notification is a banner now that requires action before going away...different than the normal "Banner" style which goes away after a few seconds on its own. Check the Notification settings in the Settings app.

someone mentioned a few pages back to try updating the apps by tapping "update all" at the top of the updates page. It was working fine for me yesterday, the usual way but stuffed up this morning. tried the update all method and that worked for me :)
