Be careful.

For some reason my phone decided to update 22 Apps while of WiFi, managed to use 1GB+ of data in a day.

You can turn off cellular for the App Store in Settings > Cellular and toggle off App Store. But that kills the use of looking for apps and such while on cellular.

The other thing you can do is go into Settings > iTunes & App Stores and toggle off Updates. This still stop the App Store from auto updating apps in the background or when launching the app.

I still feel that iOS 10 could use some shadows...

That would look nice. I just noticed mearly minutes before you posted this that the new banner notifications (and inassume the new alert ones as well) have a drop shadow. So perhaps possible they may eat added at some point?

Then add in the drop shadows added on album art in the Music app player. Seems they are adding shadows to areas.

Yeah I would like to see as many shadows in iOS as macOS.

Did anyone else notice that the second hand on the clock icon is orange now?

Yes on the phone

That's always been standard behavior. You can actually lower it as of iOS 10, a change. Just click the little arrow buttons on the bottom corner of the video.
[doublepost=1466991262][/doublepost]What does it mean when the screen turns black with the little spinning wheel and goes back to lock? Because that happens.

The app opening animation is now interruptible.
So when clicking the home button while the opening animation is happening, there will be zero delay to closing it.

Anybody else having issues with their flashlight? This was never an issue, I've had the beta since release. I tried restarted my phone and everything, clicking the flashlight doesn't do anything

Anyone having trouble doing a hard reset? I am trying to change the signal dots over to dBm in field test mode and it just takes a screenshot and then prompts me to shut it off. Hard reset isn't an option for me.

When you call out "slide to turn off", then you should release power button, and press home button for about 10 seconds until that view disappear. Then, you will be able to see dBm value of signal rather than dots.

dont know why suddenly my iphone have been eating my battery alot. have to charge twice a day
That's why I'm happy I'm using Apple's Smart Battery Case. It's ugly and heavy as hell, but it gives me all-day battery life. After around 8 hours (with not too much usage) I've got 50% left from the case. Before iOS 10 I had a full 100% left from the iPhone at around two hours before I went to sleep. :p

So yeah, battery life is bad. But given it's just the first beta I'm fine with it. As long as Apple keeps improving it. :)

This is broken in beta 1. Even if it's turned off updates will still be downloaded over cellular if you open App Store app and open the updates tab. Have to cancel the updates if you don't want to download them.

iOS 7 definitely had shadows on beta 1 but I think it looks better without.

They weren't the same as iOS 6's shadows were. That screen-cap I showed was using a wallpaper I made with iOS 6's wallpaper shadows and dark tinted status bar.

iOS 7 didn't have wallpaper shadows for the icons. It had a small shadow on the labels, that they later reduced the opacity on later in development.
