It's been that way as long as I can remember... doing a hard reboot (chording Home/Power buttons) will reset battery stats, as will anything that causes a springboard crash.
Yes a hard reset always has. However a shutdown and restart did not. Now either one resets the stats.

No way to know if the security patches in 9.3.5 are already included in 10 beta 7, right?

Any idea if the 9.3.5 updates to fix the exploits were the reason we got another beta update?

It's possible. Beta 6 could have been the last one but beta 7 included these fixes. Beta 7 was a very small update.

Anyone else having this issue? Reboot fixed it but it's still a bug worth reporting.

Can't paste into the body of a new message in Mail, sometimes, unless I tap on the "Sent from my iPhone" or type something on that line. No paste menu comes up on a blank line.

How can I find shuffle and repeat options in Music app? There's nothing in now playing screen, lockscreen and control center.

Edit: found them by scrolling in now playing screen. That's the only place where they're visible?

Yes. It's the design choice they made. Out of the way for people who don't need them or use them often and there when you do need then with a few mm scroll.

Personally I hardly even use the shuffle button in now playing, because if I'm shuffling music it's done via the Shuffle All buttons within Songs list, Playlists or Albums. So I like they are down ever so slightly out of view, making the now playing screen cleaner.

I noticed this, too. I've reported it as a bug.

Device?

I'm probably one of the pickiest people, and my 5S is flying. Better than iOS9, probably as good as iOS8 was (admittedly a vague memory now)
Device is iPad Air 2. App switcher is smooth only for a few hours.

What are you running it on a 4s? No lag this time. Even the hard core "laggers" have not made mention of it.
Device is iPad Air 2. I thought it was due to many apps opened in the background. So I swiped up and cleared all but still lagging

You might try a clean install. I'm with the others: not only have we not seen lag, but many of the usual complainers have been 100% silent on this issue. Not saying you're not seeing it...

Seems like I am the only one having this issue. I submitted 3 issues to apple. I got replies for 2 other issues. This lag was excluded.

ROFL! Who was it that said beta 7 is the last????

Let's face it people, none of us know what Apple is doing. There's no point in thinking we know everything Apple is doing and making false statements as if it's fact.

I will gladly eat my words that I was wrong, but it appears Beta 8 won't download for people. So maybe it was a mistake and it was only suppose to go to internal testing? They did that last year with Beta 6. Only internal testing got it.

____
I am now 100% confident we will see a 10.0.1 on release day or the next day for the new iPhone. This is less than 2 weeks from the event and the GM has already been loaded on half the devices.

Or it could be a fsck up like what happened with iOS 8.x where it killed the TouchID.

Public Beta works fine, it's the Developer Preview that's stuffed up. Anyone that is on the Dev Beta can't download.

Thankfully iOS 10 is doing things in its own way to demonstrate that all these patterns and guessing and all that are basically meaningless.
