Just today the App Store stopped letting me update apps. Anyone else experiencing this? Could it be on the Apple/server side, as opposed to a problem with the iOS 10 beta?

Not one of Apple's better UI/UX decisions. Maybe will be more tolerable once 3D Touch is universal (years away, unfortunately) but for now, there are too many ways to do the same thing or the ways to do things are not intuitive.

Swiping notifications on the lock screen to open the app has been how it has worked since iOS 5. Nothing new there.

Now what IS a step backward from a UI perspective in iOS 10 is when you swipe right to left on a notification on the lock screen or in Notification Center. In iOS 8-9, this would reveal quick action buttons. In iOS 10, you now get "View" and "Clear" buttons. You then have to tap "View" to get the quick actions. In addition to this being an extra tap to do the same thing, the quick action buttons appear in a totally different area of the screen! That's a huge step back IMO, especially when the "rich Notification" you get when you tap "View" doesn't really give you any additional information over what you got in iOS 8-9. It's just presented differently. My feelings on this might change once iOS 10 is officially released and 3rd party apps can take advantage of the new rich notification system. For now at least, iOS 10 seems like a pretty big step back to me in this area.

My hope as well. We do have to remember this is the beta and not everything is "all wired up" yet.

EDITED: Never mind, apps updating now.
Speaking of..... Anyone tried to get an app on iTunes and see that its doesnt seem to download to the device automatically? I have it enabled to do so but doesn't work. It shows in the purchased list with the cloud icon but never automatically downloads to the device.

Does anyone noticed that opening folders blocks input again until animation is finished? Or is it just me (iPad Air 2)

No issue here. My animations are so fast on my 6s/Air 2 that they finish loading before I can even tap an app in a folder. Then the app opens right away.

Thanks. Opening apps while open-folder-animation really seems to work (no input blocking). But swiping (through another "folder page") while that animation isn't possible though, is it?
/edit: And yes, animation is fast. But this case is quite interesting for me, because a few betas ago swiping through folder pages was possible during animation. And if you are fast in navigating through the OS, you noticed this input blocking ;)

Swiping and then quickly trying to open an app has less than a half a second delay. I'm intentionally swiping as fast as possible and tapping a random app. I would never do this in day to day usage so it doesn't concern me. But yes you have to wait about .3 seconds before you can tap when swiping.

Anyone figured out how to make the August Lock work with the Home app? It still says "Not compatible" but still can be controlled with Siri.
August has said an update will be released with support for the Home app

Sometimes when touching in a notification it won't open and redirect to the respective app (6S here). Wondering where's watchOS' Beta 7. :confused:o_O

I hate the new keyboard sounds. Silly as it may be, the keyboard sounds have (IMO) reached an almost iconic status, ubiquitous to iPhones. This new change starts the curve all over again, and I don't see why. Change for the sake of change always irks me.

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, apologies if it has been; I have no sending bar, or indication of sending, for either iMessage or SMS. So after pressing send it isn't immediately clear the message is going or not.

Is this a bug or expected behaviour?

I've noticed that when I try to delete an email from the Quick Reply notification screen it always takes a couple of taps to register. I'm going to submit a report.

I have noticed since ios 10 betas that when I restart my phone it clears the battery usage stats. Is this the way it is suppose to be or is it a bug. I have reported it but wonder if this is the way it is suppose to work.

If you shut down and then boot up again the stats should say, if you actually do a reset basically the stats will get cleared out (the usage and standby time only), which has been the case for a long while now.

It was always like that, no matter what version os you have, after you restarting your phone, your battery stat clear out.

I think its a bug. Mine does it too.

That's the way it has always worked but iOS 10 betas that behavior has changed. Either shut down or hard reset both removes battery stats.

It was always like that, no matter what version os you have, after you restarting your phone, your battery stat clear out.
Nope a shut down and immediate start up would keep the stats while a reset would not. If however you leave the phone shutdown for a bit then it did seem to reset the stats.

It's been that way as long as I can remember... doing a hard reboot (chording Home/Power buttons) will reset battery stats, as will anything that causes a springboard crash.
