iOS 9.0 Beta 5 was the final beta and its build number was 13A4325c. Therefore, your theory is incorrect.

That was released roughly 5 weeks before the event. Therefore, being 3.5 weeks out, I am again certain this is the last build. There is no reason to have released two in one week.
But I just can invalidate your assumption using this most recent beta. Anything is possible. Apple has kindly broken the pattern. I don't mind they break it once again.
Plus, the invisible "delete" button in music app is still there. No way they put it into official firmware unless they want to use it as Easter egg surprise.

Do notifications lag in the NC when scrolling through?

I'm curious to see if the latest build improves this in my 6. Lots of low frame rate animations throughout the OS, but most severely and consistently in notification centre and widgets, which seeem to run at ~20fps.

So are there any changes on this beta? Maybe an unknown security patch since nobody is commenting about changes. I just installed this on my main device and it seems really stable but Im sure ill find bugs as time goes along.
[doublepost=1471649246][/doublepost]are there any known bugs that are out there that I can try and replicate? I have a fresh copy installed on my device so I would be able to test a raw iOS

Battery life is really good man. The only app that drains it quick is the music app

Hmm, are you streaming music or playing music that's local on your device? If you're streaming that'll run down the battery.

I keep all my music locally and sync from iTunes, so no streaming. Battery life is great.

I haven't seen this problem. However I did read in another thread that having reduce motion turned on can cause performance issues with animations. If you have it on you might want to try to turn it off and see if it helps.
No, I don't have that turned on. I usually don't let notifications pile up but sometimes when I get 10-15 emails plus other notifications from social apps, when I scroll, it skips frames really bad while on the 9.3.4, it s smooth. Usually I wouldn't post stuff like this cause I got used to the lag on ios 9 and some users here tend to take your eyes out if you speak about lag but this issues really bugs me because it s hard to scroll and tap on a notification. Again, only if there are a lot of them.

What's this invisible delete button?

Or they felt that everything was solid enough to seed the last beta as they start to load the GM on all iPhones that are currently being built for shipment in 1 month.
Don't come here spreading your logic.....how dare you!

This beta is very close to final (if not already final). No bugs that I can discern, stable and fast.
Right. The next iPhone is already on assembly lines waiting to be loaded with software. The final version is already being loaded onto phones to be released in a month.

Anyone notice that the weather widget now uses the 1st added city not the current location now?

I would actually like to see how they do that. Millions of phones having the software loaded. Has to be quite an operation.

It's funny you complain endlessly about iOS 9 and being "slow" and then now complain that iOS 10 has super smooth scrolling in an email. Seems like you are just picky as hell and will never be happy. Nitpicking over the silliest of things.

Also it's not related to beta 7 as the better scrolling inside an email has been around since developer beta 1.

I'm not complaining that the scrolling is too smooth. When I'm reading an email, I prefer for the page to scroll like it does on safari where it only scrolls a little bit at a time. It's easier to read that way.

iOS 9 wasn't laggy when scrolling in mail, it just matched the scroll speed of safari. When I say scroll speed, it doesn't mean it's stuttery or laggy... it just stops sooner instead of just scrolling way past what I wanted.

To test this. Just scroll a web page, then go and scroll in an email.

It was correct in iOS 9.

Also, to the person that said their notifications aren't the same color as the home screen background... my background is green and here's my notifications...

And here's when I have a purple background.

Notice any difference?

On the other hand there have been people complaining and people asking why doesn't Safari and some other apps like Mail don't use inertia scrolling like Messages does and like various 3rd party browsers do, and that it makes Safari basically slow and crappy because of that.

I've been running the public beta since PB1 with no issues at all.

It has been for a few weeks now matey. iOS 10 is in a pretty great shape right now. What number do these betas usually get to because I think we're about there now with stability and battery life?

Thanks for the feedback. I installed it on my iPhone and I have to say that for a beta, it's pretty nice. Stable and no issues for me. :)

Well, I've never had a problem with scrolling in safari because usually when you're browsing a website, you're reading and scrolling slowly. I've never felt the need to flick down a page to quickly get to the bottom.

If they're gonna change mail to scroll the new way, they should at least be consistent about it and change Safari too. That would please everyone.

I'd like to know, can anyone tell me if the public beta is stable enough for a daily drive?

If you don't use any third party apps then the answer is probably yes. But only you know what apps are mission critical to your situation. Truth is even once the final version is released you need be sure all your apps work and possibly wait for updates. Lots of people never install a 1.0 version and wait for 10.01 or later just to wait for bugs to get fixed.

But all in all. It's pretty stable for me.
