They actually kinda did (sort of)

As of iOS 10 you can export your health data and from a few people I read that it's possible to import back in. Not sure how the importing in works, but the export button is found in the Health App.

Yesterday, I tried to download a .zip file on Safari (wanted to try the Add to iCloud Drive button). There was a "Add to Health" button too.

In one of the betas I could swipe up while playing music in my car and it would open Spotify (had the little icon as well) in the lock screen but that's gone now. Anyone know how to bring it back or which setting to look at?

That's the Siri Proactive feature. Some are reporting that it is not working for them in this beta. It'll be back.

So beta 8 is definitely a step back from beta 7. I really hope they will release one more beta before GM next week. Considering they have been releasing weekly beta's it's not far fetched for them to release the final beta this week before next week's GM.

I kinda think Public Beta 6 was better than this beta. I'm getting more lag and general glitchiness in PB7.

Dammit. I knew iOS 10 was too good to be true. They effed it up just in time for the public.

Yeah seems a lot of folks are seeing PB7 as a step back. That doesn't necessarily mean things are going down. Just that THIS build is not up to par. No telling what was added to it but I suspect the final will be back like its been with a few more issues ironed out. Clearly iOS 10 has potential as has already been seen in earlier betas.

I had lag and stutter for day or 2 on latest dev beta which seems to have gone now, and it is back to same smoothness as earlier beta.

however battery is terrible on this beta on my 6s plus which i am sure will be fixed in GM or final build.

Hold your judgement until the GM next week. As has always been the case, each beta comes with its own set of glitches and areas of focus, thus the current one may just be off from the previous one for that reason. I think we'll see the speed gains from DB 7 in the GM and then some.

Anyone have an issue where the people scanning stops? I have like 1,200 photos left to be scanned and it stopped. Even plugged in with phone locked it won't finish. Thoughts?

I've been having this problem since the first beta and was wondering if any of you guys had, notifications are late unless I keep the phone unlocked (sometimes I have to do inside the app) and they come toguether, imessage and facetime deactivate but if I restart the phone it will 100%.

Last beta today ?

Nope, invites are out. No more betas.

macOS was seeded yesterday because that typically doesn't come out when watchOS/iOS is launched. I would expect that to be at the end of the month like last year.

During the WWDC Apple showed IOS 10 with call blocking on a spam database.

This option hasn't been in iOS 10 beta. I wonder if Apple pulled it out as there were to many issues or will it be in iOS 10 GM release?

I think apps could interact with the phone app. So an app could have a database and then pass it on to the phone app and under the number when the phone rings it would say "Could be spam" or something like that. Just as it can show names from mails or messages.

Emojis are still messed up in spotlight search. No answer from Apple.

I recently saw an option to report an unsolicited text as spam (in the current iOS 10 beta). Was this a feature pre-iOS 10?

Yeah I believe that was around since about iOS 8 days. Just not something very consistent for some reason.

I think that basically works with an app that can interact with calls which is one of the newer things in iOS 10, but would require such apps to be made or existing ones updated to work like that once iOS 10 is released.

I think that's more in line with being able to work fully with iOS 10 (betas) so far, as various apps have done over the past few months.

I still cannot get the 'orange' emoji text to appear in rich notifications. I have to be within the messages app only. Does anyone know if this is intended or a bug?

Yes, the Hiya app asked me if I wanted to try the beta with the new blocking features. Haven't tried it yet as I'm still on iOS 9.

I could have sworn the rule was no mention of the beta version was allowed. In other words you can't describe your app as "iOS 10 compliant" until apple removes the embargo. Couldn't this mean that they are starting to post iOS 10 apps? Or am I totally off base?
