Battery life seems noticeably better in BETA 8. Using BETA 7 I could literally watch the percentage drop as I used my iPhone 6S.

So watchOS stopped at beta 6, macOS beta 7, tvOS beta 7 and iOS beta 8. How weird.
[doublepost=1472233205][/doublepost]DP 8 version has setup screen, PB 7 have that?

Both my iPhone 6s and Air 2 had the setup screen.
Not on iPhone. However I did have the simple setup of iCloud, diag and maybe location (cant totally remember) on iPad Min 4 after 9.3.5 update. PB7 on iPhone didnt though.

Is it just me or is there a slightly larger delay when pressing the home button until the "close"-animation actually starts? o_O
I think there is too. Also group titles are slower to appear now when you open a group. Seems they may be fooling with the animations again. Not sure what they have against the fast animations. Strange.

No problem, I didn't mean to sound rude. Sorry if I did, though.

That delay after pressiong the home-button is even worse on my Pro 9.7"
It definitely has not been that bad (or at all!) with the last "surprise" beta last friday...

It's all good! While highly unlikely at this point, dark mode sure would be nice...

Just finished updating and the delay's not bad on my Pro 9.7". In fact, I don't really notice a delay at all right now. Will give it more time to see.

Indexing has nothing to do with the delay in the home button!
As much as I'd like it to be, I'm confident the delay is not a result of the indexing. It's too consistent to not be intentional.

Can anyone with a non 3DTouch device confirm it's there for them? I've often found myself accidentally landing on the home screen when I don't double click quite right, but it's a non issue generally as I'll use the 3DTouch shortcut instead.

Folks need to send this feedback to Apple so they change it in the next beta or gm.

Everyone report the home button delay! maybe if they are bombarded with this they will "unfix" it.

This is ridiculous, why would they ruin how fast it's been behaving?

Sorry to anyone that says it's indexing but i don't think this is the case
I know. THATS been the big thing everyone was happy about how fast things were compared to iOS 9 (that was SUPPOSED to be performance based and was a fail in that dept) Hopefully they will reverse that decision by release day.

On my 6 Plus it doesn't have a delay; it's instant. I've had the beta installed for several hours now.
